Actually the Girlies and I were just discussing this...

Along with some fava beans and a nice chianti.

I think we'll be going with hot cocoa and cocunut rum or Spiced Cider with Fireball. And the ever-present cheeses, venison sausage, fruit plate and hummus, and crackers. We eat well. And sometimes study.

Spiced Cider... yum. I don't know what Fireball tastes like, but it sounds good.

Update probably coming sooner than I originally thought.
This was my day yesterday.

Get up at 7am to drive Kay to school.
Run a few errands, do a few things, the usual...
Pick up Subway for Kay at 12pm, pick up Kay at 12:15.
Drive to other end of the city and drop her off for Honour Band practice.
I have four hours to kill... there's a library nearby. I have my laptop.
Spend the next three hours or so editing photos and uploading to Pbucket.
Pick up Kay, take her out for supper (Pizza! Went to a new place... not bad!)
Take her back to Honour Band practice... four more hours to kill.
Back to the Library and more writing.

So I'm about halfway through the next update already.

I love having it close to Halloween.
When I was a kid it was awesome.
One day it was cake and presents, the next day was Trick or Treating
It felt like a wonderful two day celebration.

That's awesome! that way you don't feel bad when your birthday is over because there's still Halloween.

That's good but you never know. You could be one of those people who demands perfection from his readers. If it were my trip report I would be tempted to deduct for all kinds of things.... mostly for not liking me enough! Reminds me of the time I got passes for my sister to sit on stage during a Korn concert (Kay would know who they are). She got to bring a friend. She picked her best friend but there were a lot of people who wanted to go with her. Her idea was to make them all write an essay on why they liked her and choose the best one. Not why they liked the band or anything, why they liked HER. You could use that as a final test for bonus points, an essay on why we like your trip report better than everyone else's.
