Smooth move.
I thought so too!

Unhappy wife, holy crap are you in trouble.
There is that one as well!

I've got one more TR to do
before yours (and one after),
but soon.![]()
You are writing another whole TR or just chapter?

You are writing another whole TR or just chapter?
Neither.
Well... I will be writing another
chapter eventually.
Busy time right now.
I meant I had another TR
that I had to comment on
before I could comment on yours.
That one's done. Yours is next.
Hooray, a Pkondz update is like Christmas gifts!
You must've won.
And when I say "you",
I mean "we".
Where's my cut?
I would easily go back and
just have the cheese course.
(and the chocolate.)
4 hours?
a.) My races are usually capped
at about two hours.
b.) then again... there's the
24 hours of LeMans.![]()
NASCAR... no comment.
I find it boring.
I like watching the skill
that the drivers show me
when setting someone up
and then executing a pass.
And... it depends on the race.
I've seen races where there's
been 3-4 lead changes...
on a single lap!
And they do that for dozens
of laps.
Fun to watch!
But! I totally get that
it's not for everyone.
You should go too.
Those races are completely
different when seen live.
(Like most sporting events.)
Unhappy wife, holy crap are you in trouble.
Okay, finally made it over here and wasn't going to reply, just try to catch up, then this caught my attention.Deceptive, I know! The A in "Day" is actually /e/. And if that wasn't enough to mess with your mind, you might be wondering, "Well, gee, Meghan, what is the E sound then??" It's /i/. Don't get me started on what the I is...
You're...you're...like me...![]()

I had something similar...I saw Marvin in the antenna! That is a lot of driving in one day. I don't envy you, when I went to visit my family in Edmonton a few years back there was a major snowstorms and accidents and my typically 11 hour drive took 22 hours and that was one of the worst days of my live.
If you make it to the Atlanta area, give me a holler. We can hit 8 different dealers in the Atlanta area in maybe 3 - 4 hours and many fewer miles. My haul for the day:

After eight Harley stops,
I am done for the day.
Based on this...A rather dark Monday morning.
2:15am to be precise.
Eaaarrrrly.
But I have a flight to....
No. Wait. I don't.
But I do have a bit of driving
ahead of me.
Hence the early departure.
I was dressed, packed,
locked and loaded
and out of the house by 3:30am.
Look. You try to get moving
faster than that when you're
constantly distracted by a
nice warm bed calling out to you.
I hit the road and then got
in the car and drove on it.
Only people on the road at that
time were fools and idiots.
I'll let you guess which one I was.
No bonus points for saying "both".
I already know too many of you will.
Here's my secret.
I like driving.
I like seeing the country.
I like the quiet.
I like the solitude.
I like the time to think.
I like the time to dream.
And that's okay. Not a contest!![]()
And I'm enjoying it!
I don't really have much time,
so I'm only about 1/2 way through it.
But I'm really enjoying it.![]()
I had something similar...
When I was stationed at the Pentagon, we had been visiting family in FL. On the way home, the blizzard of '96 that slammed the Eastern US hit. What should have been 13 hour drive turned into 26 (might have been 28) hour drive. I can't remember exactly. Seems like we left at 8am and didn't get in until around noon the next day, so that would be 28, but I don't remember the exact times. I know it was well over a full day. After we got back to VA, I was told I'd get a ticket for the snow chains. I said, okay, I don't like breaking the law, but I'll take that ticket over the greater chance of an accident.
Uh...it's in the mail.
I was wondering, is it tough to watch if you can only see a little piece of the race course? Like, you can see one turn, so the cars whiz by you there, and then they disappear for a few minutes while you stare at an empty road?
Also: Unhappy wife, and no matter what happened and who was involved, it's your fault.
Hmm... interesting. I speak French and the sounds are the same.Okay, finally made it over here and wasn't going to reply, just try to catch up, then this caught my attention.
Sounds like it might be patterned after or similar to Spanish vowels...
a,e,i,o,u in Spanish are ah, ay, e, o, ooh.
so e make an a sound and i makes an e sound. Is i eye?![]()

If you make it to the Atlanta area, give me a holler. We can hit 8 different dealers in the Atlanta area in maybe 3 - 4 hours and many fewer miles.
I can also take you to a couple places for amazing food.
No, NOT the varsity...I said amazing food...unless you really are constipated, then we'll visit the varsity to help you (or would that be it) out.
Oh, Atlanta is anything except flat, so any runaway dogs will be no longer visible before you stop hearing them.
Okay, listen.I call foul or BS. You like seeing little dogs fleeing the border for hours.
Finished it a day or two ago.I'm very glad to hear that. I was reluctant to start it but ended up loving it.
"Only"
snort...
You don't have to see.
You were there!
I'm going to have to try it.
The ones at the butcher
come pre-seasoned.
(Although they can also
cut me one without.)
Care to share your recipe?
And I can say it correctly too.![]()
Ooooh...when we meet, we'll need to compare notes...I do Yogi and Boo Boo also (as well as many others).
If we ever meet,
you may ask me for my
Yogi & Boo Boo impression.
