Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has been there this year and whether they feel it is worth the price. WE are a family of 4 2 adults, children 4 & 6 (soon turning 7 so we will have to go soon.) I haven't been in years but it does look like they have more things for children to do know. However with prices close to WDW I am not sure if it is worth it.

We enjoyed it last year...they definitely have started to get more for kids. If you buy the all you can play passport at Pharma Plus I think it's only $35 each. When we go we just get the grounds admission...I think it was $25 and they give you a coupon book for rides. There's enough coupons in there for us, 12 I think of different levels and each person gets one. Alot of rides didn't even ask for the coupon. I don't think I would pay the full $50 each though.

Well, we bought season's passes last year in the fall for this year and used them on Mother's day for the first time.(I would have preferred a day at the spa but you know how it is with kids!)Our kids are 4 1/2 and 6 and both pretty tall, my son being a green height level and my daughter a purple, different from last year for us. WE went on the big boat that rocks way up, the fly(god as my witness I will NEVER do that one again-itfeels like the car could go off the track on any given curve-I HATED it)we did Vortex with my DD and silver streak, ghoster coaster along with the other tamer attractions. All in all, it was worth it for us because we could go on rides we couldn't last year. We did comment that there really isn't anything new in the kids section and wouldn't we be board if we had to line up to ride the little helicopters again and again (like last year!)We do enjoy it though and go often, many times on the spur of the moment so it is worth it to us!

alohamom ~ Do they have the Coke Contest Running this year? The "Roll up to Win" type. They have not had it for the past few years and was wondering if they brought it back?

TIA

We love Wonderland ~ but we really needed a break from it. In 2001 we bought seasons passes and went over 50 times that season. We used our 2002 seasons passes about half that. The waterpark is a huge draw for us. If you haven't been in years ~ it's definately worth it. Look around for those $35.00 pre-paid tickets and try to bring a lunch. Chat soon! S

I think we will try to go fathers day weekend. A good treat for dad.

Is anybody else surprised that childrens tickets are only good untill they are 6. I guess I really can't complain about WDW cut off being 9. My 6 (soon to be 7) year old is very timid and will not go on any of the roller coasters. She is pretty small for her age so I don't imagine she will even be tall enough for a lot of the rides. I would really have a hard time paying full price for her. She is turning 7 at the end of June so I am going to make sure we go before her birthday.

Hi everyone,

DS has been a longtime Wonderland employee (although like the rest of the family he is a Disney CM at heart). If you have any Wonderland questions - ask and I will get an answer for you. Personally I think that it is expensive, crowded , dirty and almost completely devoid of themeing that you could speak of - but then we have been to WDW 7 times in the last 12 years, so we have been spoiled.

Hey Scratch, didn't see any Coke promos but if I do in the next little while I'll post it.

Our kids are 4 and 7. We bought a family season pass last Sept for the 2004 Season ... but we were able to use it for the rest of the 2003 season. I believe with tax I paid about $276, and we've already used it twice last fall. There's a ton of stuff for my kids to do. But it sure ain't Disney! As we were walking around, kind of lost I might add  (it's frustrating to not know a theme park as well as we do at WDW), and looking at the overflowing garbage cans and huge lineups for unexciting rides like Dora's Dune Buggies, my sister and I looked at each other and said "Toto, I don't think we're in Disney anymore".

We're hoping to go a few times for a day, and as well, for a couple of days when we're on holidays this summer and just stay in a hotel nearby.

If anyone has a suggestion for a nearby hotel to PCW, please let me know.

We love Wonderland! It's no Disney World but what is???!!! We have bought season's passes for the last 4 years and we still enjoy it. But we only go about 7-8 times a year. My DS is 12 years old and my DD is 10. I like it because we can do just the rides one visit, the next just the waterpark, and the next both the rides and waterpark. For us, it's kind of the next best thing to Disney.
