Canadain DVC owners - who did you use for a notary public?

we just got our paperwork - and since we are financing through Disney we need a notary public signature. My boss is a notary but she said that we need a commisioner of oathes to do it???

what has your experience been?

We used our real estate lawyer. He charged us $50 (not sure whether this is a standard cost or slightly inflated!).

I just looked in my local (Ajax) yellow pages under "Notaries" and called all of them to ask prices. They all charged anywhere from $25-75. (Guess which one I went with)
Some would not do it for customers they did not previously know, but most would even with having never met you before. Just bring all of you ID with you.

If you boss is a Notary, that is just as good as a Commissioner.

I can do it for you if you're in the GTA. Free (if it's just a matter of signing in front of a notary).

Thanks so much for the offer I am giving it one more try with my boss - you would think I am asking her to sign her life away if that doesn't work out I will go through my lawyer...

We used a lawyer we found in the phone book. his name was David Fysh he has done both of our contracts for us. It cost us 25 each time which wasn't to bad.
