Canada Day at Epcot

sudden thought. Maybe they'll give the lumberjacks the day off, since its a statutory holiday! We can only hope.

Curious, does Epcot do anything special within the Canada pavillion for Canada Day?

"Historically" there have been a lot of extra Flags around the Canada Pavilion and also they have had a "Canada quiz" flier they give to Guests(usually at the Kidcot table).

When Guests finish answering the questions on the quiz, they receive a "prize".

The prize used to be Disney Pins(I got the Italy Mickey Mouse "Flag Pin" in Italy on Liberation Day one year!),but in recent years,it has just been some candy.:)

This same "set-up" has been used for all Pavilion celebrations the last few years.:)

We happened to be in Epcot on Canada Day last year (or perhaps the year before) and there wasn't anything special going on anywhere except in Canada. There they had a few more flags out and the CM's were commenting about it being Canada Day. But nothing really big.

I don't believe the performers in the lumberjack show actually from Canada.

:rolleyes2 And the Canadian Pavilion isn't in Canada. But it would still be really nice if they would give these guys as many days off as possible. Really. Any excuse will do.
