Has anyone done this? I think it's on the Magic.

Kind of debating this October as we have a school break, but not sure it'd be "worth it" (I know worth is subjective).

Not particularly interested in the ports, though I'm sure we'd get off and do something. I'm assuming it'll be too cold to swim so I'm wondering if all the inside stuff will be overly crowded.

Any input from someone who has done this, or similar, would be helpful!!

On the Atlantic, note you are at the tale end of hurricane season. May have rough seas.

I think it would be worth it for the fun on the boat. If my kids could miss the additional 3 days of school (off 2 for Jewish holidays), we would drive over to the port and go!

We did it in 2012 and are doing the member cruise at the end of September. Yes, it's too cool to swim, but we still sat on deck with jackets on. The plexiglass breaks a lot of the wind. Definitely worth it, especially if you live near the port as we do. No airfares to worry about.

We have this cruise booked and we are flying in from Texas hoping we can get into the fall spirit with the cooler weather and the turning of leaves. We don't plan on using the pools because it will be way too cold for us, but we are excited to see the shows and for our daughter to use the club. We are also looking forward to the Halloween activities.

We also did this cruise in 2012, loved it!

It was our first non-Caribbean cruise, quite different bringing cooler weather clothes with us.
We enjoyed sitting on deck and relaxing, the weather was great for us Floridians, who don't really get the seasons.

Enjoy.

We did, too. Thoroughly enjoyed it including the days at sea of which there were two if IIRC. We stayed in NYC for two or three more nights. We saw two shows and did some touristy things. Good memories.

Did it on the very last cruise in 2012 I think....

It was the week after labor day, NO ONE was on the ship : )
(little strong, very few kids) Daughters school started late that year, perfect for us, live in Jersey so great commute.

We would have loved it (you would die to hear our price...) but we had done Alaska that summer, so.........

It was very nice, just not Alaska : )

We did this itinerary in 2012, and loved it! Especially enjoyed our excursion to local gardens with a character experience with Alice and the Mad Hatter. Great memories!
