if you miss the time earlier in the day? I believe I had read that if you have one for earlier in the day that you can use it anytime later that day. That true?

Just Saturday I used a 12:15pm fast pass at 7:00pm that night. The time on the fast pass is a suggested return time.

I believe officially, you may not use it. Unofficially, almost everyone is able to use an expired fastpass on the same day it was issued. However, I have heard of only 2 or 3 persons who said they were not able to do that. I guess if you find a particularly crabby CM, they may not let you.

I used a 1:15 pm Test Track fast pass at 6:00 pm. The CM told me that it's at their discretion and some CM's wouldn't do it, but that he was a nice guy (and he was) and would let us use it.

we didn't know you could and asked a cm if we needed to get another, she said they are good all day and waved us through...so if it happens, i'd just play dumb( we didn't have to "play" dumb;)) and ask and i think most would let you. from her answer i thought they didn't expire but if they do, i don't think they really stick to it much

good to know cause i just assumed she was right and so wouldn't have worried about the time frame..we go off season and don't use them very often

...to think of how many FP's I've tossed over the years due to running late! Will try this out in Dec. - thanks.

I've used passes from earlier in the day on lots of rides. Only time that was a little dicey was on Test Track. I even used one on Tower of Terror from another day, but I was prepared to show one from that say if questioned (I was just curious if they would take it so decided to try).

I've used a FP that was past due by 2 years. As long as you don't show up earlier, I'm sure you'll be fine. Every once in a while you'll get a stickler, but it's not too common

Seriously?! Don't they look at the year? I have a few from my previous stay. It was either we were running late or there was that afternoon thunderstorm and didn't run it to the next attraction or we had to leave early cause we were just pooped. If that's the case, then I will bring some of my expired FP and hope to get in!

yes - you can use an expired Fast Pass...my sister has been known to use ones left over from previous trips...and she is a CM! :)

The only time we had a problem with an expired fastpass was on Soarin. I think that was because the ride is new and there were very long waits when we were there in July. The CM's I spoke to said that as long as we don't arrive early it is not a problem. I did only use fastpasses from that day though, I still have some from previous trips that I may have to try after reading some of these posts! :rolleyes1

Never had a problem. We have always only used FP's from the current day though. We almost never use a fast pass in the window on the ticket, since we usually tend to run late.

The only time I think they would not let you do this is for some of the shows that have a 15 minute window.

Hmmmm maybe I'll be keeping all those unused fastpasses for next year! We did use them past the time frame on this trip with no problems...but I had no idea you could get away with using them a day later much less 2 years later! May be worth a try!

That is what I was told by a CM at jungle cruse when we kept getting one, but leaving the park by time it was ready (DD needed a nap.)

I have never had a CM turn us down for using it after the fact. Mostly we have used them on the same day, sometimes the next day.

It is a little known fact they don't encourage or they wouldn't be able to do it if everyone did all the time (or all at the same time.)

We've never had problems using a FastPass later that day after the
"window" was past.... We did get a 'strange' look from a MK Cast Member
when we used a Space Mountain FastPass for 1100 at 2200 (10:00pm) on
New Year's eve.... :teeth: He just laughed and tood the passes...

If we are leaving a given park for the day and I have unused FP's from earlier in that same day, I'll look for a "likely party" of the same number of guests, (sometimes just getting ready to enter the Standby line) and offer them our FP's.
I always explain that even if these FP's are "a bit expired" (maybe by 5 or 6 HOURS) the CM's will USUALLY honor them with no problems.
Makes for some happy riders who can then just "walk on" via the FP line.

i am going to give this a try, :) we leave in 6 days........but hey with my luck i will try and give a expired fastpass and the CM will put the cuff's on me and my 12ys old son and send us to the bighouse..... :rotfl:

the team from unofficial guide did many tests with expired fast passes and of 2 dozen times, were only denied entrance 2x. they were even successful with very old (years old) fastpasses some of the time.

this past july we were at epcot, we got fp for soarin and then went over to mission space and test track. I went over to cm at test track and asked what happens if someone comes to ride with a fp that has expired and she told me they still honor them. the only time you should be turned away is if you get there before the allotted time. We used the soarin fp later that day with no problem. then the next day we went to mgm and went around getting fp's all morning. that afternoon we used them up again with no problem.
