Can you use American Express?

It is a long story but can I use American Express gift cards in WDW? I have $400 on them! If I can, I am thinking about using them for spending money while we are there. I just got them and we have a year before they start taking money off of them.

Sorry to thread jack, but I saw your post and was also interested in this Question, I have some American Express gift cards (4 $25 gcs) I was wondering if I could put them towards paying off my vacation.

If they work like a regular AmEX, then I'd say yes! For the OP, You could probably put them on your room, and then just use your KTTW card to charge back to them, it'd be easier than carrying them around with you!

If you are completely prepaid, then you need to get charges on the account first, then pay with the GC no later than the night before checkout or have them NOT do automatic checkout.

Another option is reduce the number of tickets to 1 day base, then when you get there, upgrade them and charge the difference to the GCs.
