Can you upgrade your MYW ticket to AP

For our upcoming trip in Feb 2006 I am buying myself an AP (to get the room discount when/if available and for DDE). But my question is if I buy my DH and DD a 7 day MYW with park hopper added and we decide after being down to Disney for several days that we want to come back later in the year, can we upgrade my DH and DD's tickets to AP? I would love to plan for Christmas trip to WDW in 2006 but I don't want to buy the AP tickets for everyone on our first trip and then not go again (it's up to my DH if we go at Christmas....I've been beggin him...but we have to wait and see).

Yes, the MYW tickets can be upgraded to AP's. If you do the upgrade either prior to using or within 14 days of first use of the MYW ticket, you can apply the entire cost of it towards the AP. If the MYW was used during that 14 day window, the AP would be backdated to the date the MYW was first used.

Can you still upgrade within the 14 days even if you have already used all the days on the MYW ticket?
