JEFF...James would have LOVED the chance to run all over TSI...visit the fort, walk across the barrel bridge, explore the caves! What a shame y'all have totally missed that part of. I think I visited, maybe 3 times, over the years and every time I'd say "next trip I need to spend more time there"!

Park resort or other?

We’ve been to Maine on the weekends. I wish Don would take some time off so we could spend more time up there. He’s only taken one day off all summer . The weather in Maine has been beautiful. 70s to low 80s with a nice ocean breeze. Cooler nights in the 60s. Great for sleeping. My kind of weather. Home had been stupid hot in the high 90s and humid. Nights cool off a little. The AC has been running 24/7.

The weather in Maine has been beautiful. 70s to low 80s with a nice ocean breeze. Cooler nights in the 60s. Great for sleeping. My kind of weather. Home had been stupid hot in the high 90s and humid. Maine sounds HEAVENLY! 70's-80's with a nice ocean breeze is a DREAM for us! I am SO ready for fall! My neighbor and I were both outside "melting" yesterday evening and she said the same thing. Poor Don...he needs to have at least 3-4 days of that wonderful weather and relax!

Jeff...has smoke from Canadian wildfires been drifting into your area? It looks awful up there! Every time the Weather Channel shows the map, Canada has little fire symbols all over the west!

I have been "busting my backside" this summer working on Katie's quilt. Goal was to finish it for her birthday which was August 1st. Since she was in Destin with friends that week, her family party/dinner was pushed back to this Friday which enabled me to complete the goal! Had to work on this mostly during the late evening hours since she has a habit of "popping in the backdoor" unannounced...and wanted to keep it a surprise. Put the last hand stitch in it Monday around 1:30 AM! Pleased with the results and can't wait for her to open that gift tomorrow evening. Includes everything from her Winnie Pooh baby blanket to "Class of 24"...dance costumes, soccer, volleyball, cheerleading, Disney World, church camp...fun memories.
