Can you still mail a box ahead

I would like to mail a box ahead of us filled snacks etc non perishable of course. What info do I need to have just the addresss and what hotel I am going to? How far in advance do you mail and have any of you done it successfully?

We were able to send several boxes for our arrival to Pop Century in February. We addressed it to our name c/o of Pop Century. And then I added in parenthesis after our name (PLEASE HOLD FOR ARRIVAL 2/xx).

We had them delivered the day before we arrived and there was a note on the check in screen that we had boxes. Easy peasy.

The Mousesavers website says that some resorts & hotels charge a handling fee for the boxes. They recommend calling the resort to make sure its ok, before you send the box.
