Can you stand another Magic Band question?

Just saw that we can order ours today for our upcoming trip. Is there a reason not to use your name on the band? Do most people pick a nickname instead of their real name?

The name that you enter will be embossed on the underside of the MagicBand. It's only for visual identification if you have multiple MagicBands of the same color.

Thank you! Good to know, since we have 8 people in our group we may have more than one with the same color. Now, we have much to discuss and plan before our trip. Didn't know if we would be getting them or not.

I did IT! I chose three experiences for our first day at MK. BUT there was no listing for parades or firework viewing. I thought that they were supposed to be options to reserve too???

Parades and Fireworks are usually the last ones loaded into the system. Based on previous reports, they usually only appear on weekends.

Uh oh. Another issue. I linked 5 day tickets that I have from UT. BUT, I am going to upgrade to AP's after using them for a day. So, I can not make any FP for our last park day because of this. Guess, that is the price I pay for not getting the AP ahead of time....

Also, I was going to wait until the second part of our split stay to upgrade our tix. I didn't want to chance messing up anything to do with our reservation. So, we are staying at AKV for 2 nights, then moving to BLT for 5 nights. I thought that I would upgrade our tickets on our first park day after moving to BLT. But, all the FP reservations I made before then will remain intact right? We also have our son and friends with us that will have 6 day MYW tickets and they will just use them for the stay. So, its only my DH and I that will be upgrading.

I get it. Well, we will be in MK on our first full day which is Sunday, Nov 10th and there are no parades or fireworks listed. But, Illuminations is listed for our last night which is November 15th and that is the night I can not book because our our 5 day tickets. Probably don't really need it for Illuminations anyways.
