Can you see fireworks from Kona Cafe?

Don't want to do O'Hana's, Can't get into California Grill.

Any other suggestions? We'll be there June 7-10--Just me and husband--short notice!

Thanks!

I think you can see Wishes from Narcoosee's. I'd also ask if you can use the California Grill's viewing deck if you're dining at the Wave (this would require you to call the Wave directly.) It's unlikely, but worth a shot.

You can't see fireworks from Kona Cafe.
You can have dinner there and then go do the Poly beach afterwards, though.

Also you could eat at the Contemporary and view from the 4th floor balcony.

Can you see fireworks from any other restaurant other than O'Hana? (I like how they dim lights, play music)

Which is nicer for two, California Grill or The Wave? I called and can get resies for either at off times, save receipt and then show receipt to get onto viewing deck for Wishes.

Is there only one viewing deck at the Contemporary?

Sorry for all the questions.

You could also eat at Kona (we love it, it is great) at a time early enough to be finished dinner in time for Wishes. You could get an "adult beverage" from the lounge and head to the beach and watch Wishes form the Poly beach. It is beautiful.

Yes, you can see Wishes from Narcoossees. My DW and I have watched it from our table while dining with friends and from the dock at the GF beforehand. It's not as good as being in MK, but it is romantic and peaceful from the dock. They do not pipe the music into Narcoossees.

I do not know the answer to your Wave question either, but I also think it unlikely.

I know you were wanting dim lights ... etc ... but I will tell you that watching Wishes from the Poly beach is just wonderful! The many times we watched from there, it was not crowded at all. But do take a sweater as it can get chilly.

And if you are lucky the Electric Water Pagent (sorry if I messed up the name!) will be right before the fireworks. That is really neat to see! :thumbsup2

Sorry to hijack this thread, but what time would be a good time for ressies at Kona to be able to watch things from the beach at Poly?

We have a tendancy to eat early and since we are [usually]at the Poly we have our room to go to before Wishes starts. The grounds are very pretty so you can always walk around a while ... plus there are always the stores!

One night we had dinner at 8 and that was too late if you like to take your time to eat. So I think 7 or 7:30 would be the latest if Wishes is at 9.

And don't forget that Captain Cooks Snack Company downstairs has Dole Whips! If you're like us you can eat a fantastic dinner at Kona, go downstairs and grab a Dole Whip and snuggle in a hammock on the Poly beach while you watch the electrical water pagent pass by in the lagoon
