Can you rent DVC points and still get DDP & Tix package?

I'd like to rent points for next summer at VWL.

However, if I do that...can I still get the DDP & MYW tix?

If so, how?

The member you are renting from can add DDP for you and it would be paid for at check-in. The MYW tickets could be purchased from any source that gives you the best price. However, this would not be any type of "package" like you would get from CRO.

With a DVC stay on points, whether by an owner, guest, or renter, you are eligible for the DDP at any time. There is no "package" of rack rate or mandatory ticket purchase, so as Calypso said, you can get your tickets wherever you like.

Other than that one difference, the DDP is exactly the same as the regular DDP. There is a separate DIS board for the DDP, located here: http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=116

You'll find that most of the excitement right now is about the free DDP which just started, but if you look at the two stickys at the top of the page, the first post in each will give you a ton of info.

And before another potential rente asks...no the DVC ressie is not eligible for free DDP 2006 prices are $38 per adult per night, $11 per child. 2007 is $39 per adult. I don't know if kids went up $1 or not.

For 2007, the price is $38.99 for adults and still $10.99 for kids.
