I'm thinking of making planning this trip a full time job...

Right I'm looking for a 2 or 3 bed villa with private pool for our Nov 4 - Nov 17 trip.

I'd like to be in Lindfields or Windham Palms/Hills.

I've had a few quotes from vrbo but I'm nervous about booking something based on pics on a website.

Have you stayed in a great villa that you would recommend?

Would love to hear from you all :goodvibes

Hi , we have stayed in several villas and I could recommend some - however none have been at any of the developments you list.

I have stayed on Indian Creek, Cumbrian Lakes, Indian Point and Calabay Parc.
Also 2 bedrooms would tend to be apartments of condo's , most villas start from 3 rooms upwards.

I have gone through some of my old enquiries and have found one where I did contact the owner etc - I think it was just not available or I found alternatives, however it is nice and on a good website with a high reputation for quality homes:

If you decide you want to look at other developments please let me know and I will see what I can dig out for you ;)

Hi,

We usually stay at Indian Ridge which is 192 west, ideally situated for everything and within the vicinity that you are looking in. We managed to find a great villa as follows:-

holidaylettings co uk
Property id:5751

We have stayed here already for this year and have booked again for next year. I cannot fault this accommodation at all, it caters for all my needs, children and all. This property will not disappoint you if available.

Good luck in finding accommodation. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the hints guys - those villas look great!

Johnny - if you have some more to recommend we don't have to stick to those locations - as long as its 192West and within a 15 minute drive to the Animal Kingdom then we'll take a look. I picked those two off a map as they looked closest - and I know windham hills is new so thought they would be in good condition.

Hi,
This one is at Indian Creek , which is our preferred location and within easy reach of all the Disney parks - IC is next door to Windsor Palms.

These 2 are again in Kissimmee but instead of being located near the Formosa Gardens area they are on Poinciana Boulevard at Cumbrian Lakes.

To be honest you have more choice if you go for a 4 bedroomed, just seems that although there are just the 3 of us we always seem to find a nicer 4 bedroomed one so just in case....this is the one we are staying at in August:

In addition these are all 3 bedroomed:

I would advise you to stay either near the Formosa Gardens or Poinciana Boulevard areas as they are ideally located.

Sorry if there's too much info. here - any questions please ask ;)

Fantastic! Thanks Johnny I'll have a look at those.

I just dug out some old travel docs and we stayed at Indian Ridge in 2000 - which I think is the next one down from Indian Creek.

That helps me put the distance in comparison because from there we felt like we were on the doorstep of the world :)

Indian Ridge is a great location and that is the one that I have recommended above in a previous message. :)

I'm glad you've stayed there recently as we were there a long time ago and I wondered if the villas were now old and tired. The one you like is slightly out of my price range but I have found one within it that looks just what we need. Now I have to hope they have it available!

This will depend on the owners - majority do try to keep the villas fresh and regularly redecorate where necessary!!REplacing and upgrading etc.

Enjoy your holiday,
Lynn

Rosie,

Whichever one you book, try and make sure that some up to date photos are available, and ensure a local Management Company will be on hand should you have any queries when you get out there.
