can you reccommend a tripod

What tripod are you taking to Disney? I think I will need to purchase one to take on our trip, the one I own is great but it's a heavy duty tripod... a bit much to carry around all day at disney. Of course I will probably bring it, & use it to shoot mk-wishes from our balcony. But for when we are in mk-shooting fireworks, I'm looing for something that would serve it's purpose but be light weight enough to lug aroung disney all day. Any suggestions?

Right before our WDW trip a couple of weeks ago, I ordered the Slik Sprint Pro. I carried it all day on my Lowepro Flipside 200. It is really light and compact when folded yet the support is pretty good. I also think the ball head is pretty good, it didnt have any problem supporting my Nex7, adapter and Sigma 17-50 f2.8.

I like this tripod. it is well put together and collapses down to about 15 inches. You do need to watch the weight limit. My bigger 70-200 L lens, even the NON-IS f4.0 version, was eventually too heavy for this and I broke the plate.

Still, I liked it enough to reorder the head instead of a new tripod. ilike the pistol grip and will just watch the weight on it from now on.

Very economical and versatile for a travel tripod.

And I have been very happy with it. The tripod is light enough to travel with and solid enough for my Nikon D300 + Grip + 70-200 F/2.8.
