Can you leave a uhaul trailer in the parking lot?

We will be driving down in September and will be bringing a small trailer (whatever the smallest one we can rent) to fit all our luggage/supplies since the car will be full. If we get to the hotel early and check in before the room is ready, can we unhitch the trailer and leave it in the hotel's parking lot while we are at the park then come back later and unpack? We would then return it to the nearest uhaul location. Or could we instead leave it on and drive to the park like that and park there with it attached. We do not like taking the buses so that isn't an option unless there is no other way to do it.

Thanks for any help :)

Personally I'd leave it attached. The parking spots at the parks ar double long so they can accomodate the car + trailer.

They will be able to accomodate you with it attached. Some of the RVers having rigs bigger than yours!

several times no problem.
i have a 14' closed in trailor that i have pulled to florida several times.
stayed at pop/ssr on one stay and at ssr for 8/9 days on the second trip.
have left it hooked up and have unhooked it.when i unhooked it i put it off to the side backed up on the outskirts of the parking lot.parked my truck beside it with the wdw resort parking permit in the window.never had a problem.
