Can you guys not encourage listeners to give Cast Member's a hard time?

The CM's who work at the counter in the QS locations have no control over this stuff. It's just cheese! Disney did what they thought was best. The good news is that you don't have to spend a dime there if you so choose.

exactly the way some poel seem to be carrying on about it its as as if its the most important thing in the world and they can't live with out there precious cheese sauce

Your not getting it - write to Disney corporate they make the decisions about your cheese sauce the front end does not need to be bothered with this nonsense.

Kid got burned with cheese no more cheese.

or maybe it is you that is not getting it.
as i said writing them does not usually work.
they can easily ignore an email/letter.

they cannot as easily ignore physical bodies letting them know right then and there that they are unhappy.
and i realize that front line CM's are not the ecision makers BUT they can let their manager know how many people in a day voice their opinion about the subject and in urn the managers can let higher ups know and it will get brought to the attention of people that do make the decisions.

yeah a kid got burned.
a kid could just as easily get burned with a hot chocolate drink dispenser at a resort food court.
are they gonna take that away as well?
maybe if the adults had gotten the cheese since they can actually read that there is signage letting you know its hot a kid would not get burned.

Wait, okay I'm confused now. There is another thread out here somewhere where someone who is currently at the parks confirms the removal of the cheese sauce. However, it is stated that you can ask for cheese sauce at the register and it'll be given to you at no cost. I've heard this from multiple people, now. If that's the case, then there's really no need to fuss, right? It's no differenct than someone handing you BBQ sauce at McDonalds.

If that's the case: YAY!!!! Cheese sauce!! Yum :)

Most people where I work don't have time to track down a leader to tell them about a complaint they can handle also in most assignments you can't walk away. If you do a survey in the park with a cast member those go back to the leaders and would be better.

It drives me crazy how much of the population (equality in and outside of Disney) doesn't read. The ketchup says PUSH AND HOLD. Not PUSH PUSH PUSH PUSH PUSH PUSH PUSH PUSH PUSH PUSH PUSH PUSH.

i'm not saying that you have to leave your post to tell a manager or track one down everytime a complaint comes your way.
at the end of the shift you make it known that numerous people complained about having no cheese sauce.
that only takes a second to say.

But in all reality, the CM's who interact with the guests in the parks have absolutely NO say in what goes on. They do as their told! It isn't fair to the employee if guests scream at them for something that is out of their control. I'm sure they'll still have the cheese and we'll have to ask for it.

Most of the time, even the managers can't fix this either. This is someone who oversees the QS restaurants in Disney World.

I think YOUR not getting it. The front end cast members can't do anything - your going to demand a leader about...cheese sauce? The people working the counter service restaurants have better things to worry about than the crazy cheese sauce lady.

Go to guest relations and lodge a formal complaint, write to Disney food services, start a petition online, start a Facebook or social media campaign ...don't go bothering the people who make 7.50 an hour who can't do anything about your cheese sauce, they can't.

which i said i understood that.
and i also said that i don't plan to yell or scream at them.
another thing i said was that the front line tells the managers and the managers tell their higher ups so eventually it gets to someone that does make the decisions.

or perhaps YOU ARE not getting it.
did i say DEMAND?
nope.
i will nicely ask for a manager yes.
as i already said putting it in writing can often be ignored.
if you want action taken you need to take action.

its clear we have differing opinions as to how to approach this particular subject and thats fine.

In a perfect world, this would happen. But most of the time, the higher ups make decisions and the CM's follow it through.

I'm just saying...

Think if where your work and you had no control over the directives that are being given down and someone is taking that frustration out on you???

I'm saying you have better avenues to go through if you want your cheese back. Although I'll be honest the DISNEY cheese was pretty meh

i understand the CM's are just following orders but those orders could change because the guests can "change the world".
haha see what i did there? i made reference to "the world" and to captain eo. i'm a nut when it comes to thinking of things like that.

I'm printing up t shirts

I'm printing signs

I demand my plastic cheese

I'm losing my mind

(I hope people know I am trying to be funny)

Sorry but it's not going to happen. They know the complaints are coming. They compared it to mr toad. No cm in these locations is going to find a leader wait for them to be able to talk to them just so we can tell them something they already know.
