Can you give away a pin code?

if you know you won't use it? I got one for fall/winter with Free Dining but I have no use for it. Is it associated with the name?

No PIN codes can only be used by the person they are addressed to - with matching name and address (sometimes people get them addressed to the wrong person - someone who doesn't live at their house and they can't even use those).

I have received every pin code that was emailed this year that was reported on these boards... and there was NO way for me to go this year. Just was not possible sadly. So, all those pin codes went to waste.

Now, when I can go again, I bet you I get none!

It is totally random really... but request a planning DVD and price out some options and save the offers.

It really is random, as I reveived a PIN code, earlier this week in my mail.

I say it's random because I have never stayed in a WDW resort (I normally stay at Shades of Green - though on Disney property, they do not sell their rooms through Disney or otherwise utilize the Disney marketing machine).

The only things I can think of that may have put me on Disney's radar:

• I requested a customized map in 2008
  
• I made a few dining resevervations in 2008 and 2009
  
• I am enrolled in Disney Movie Rewards (and buy most of the Blu-ray combos that are released) - haven't redeemed any points, but I did get a free Blu-ray for my birthday, this year

I feel bad no one can use it. I have no clue why we get them because we have not been in a few years and probably will never go back so it is such a waste when there are those of you who really want them. Thanks for the replys though and have fun on your trips.
