Hello, I'm a foreigner, coming to WDW from abroad. I can't use the Disney Experience App because they limited its downloading abroad, it's not elegible for my country, so I can't download it. I have bought the tickets to the parks on the Disney website and made a reservation for each ticket. What I received is an email containing 18 digit number and that's it.
What am I doing with those numbers? How to enter the parks without app? I remeber there was a cash desk at the entrance of the parks, is it still there? Can I give those numbers to a cashier and exchange them to a physical ticket?
I used a magic band only once when 6 years ago I stayed on disney property and they gave me it for free and when I bought a ticket from the receptionist they somehow recorded this ticket to a magic band. I dont understand how it works either. I will be staying this time near Disney Springs, can buy a magic band there but how do I record my tickets to a magic band?

Totally lost, please, tell me how to enter the parks.

When you go to DisneyWorld.com does the option appear to have a live chat?
You are not staying on property but would consider purchasing a MagicBand at DisneySprings.
I would expect the update can be added at the guest servcies at Disney Springs as long as you have correct I.D. Including photo I.d. And the same credit card with you. Be sure to make a copy of the ticketing media with the confirmation number .
This is a quick response , hopefully somebody else has a better idea.

The 50th Anniversary APP is a different process than the MDE online .Do you have overseas availability with the My Disney Experience .
Blocked from both APP and MDE ?

MDE is the App, no? I don't undestand your question. I can use the website and have a login, this is how bought tickets and made reservations online.
So I print out my confirmation numbers, purchace a bracelet in any store at Disney Springs, take my card, id, and go to Guest Services near D-Lux burger? They will record the recervations to the bracelet?
The App cannot be downloaded from my country. I don't understand how foreigners visit WDW, or may be it's only for my country.

Also I don't see live chat option on the official site. I sent two emails but nobody answered.

You can get an admission ticket also, don't have to buy a new magic band.

from the plan DIsney website - you may still obtain an admission card by visiting a Will Call or Guest Relations window located outside of any theme park. This magical business can also be taken care of at the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. You will need to show the ticket order confirmation number, the original credit card used to purchase the tickets, as well as a valid government-issued photo ID. You will only need to do this once, as your admission card will serve as your ticket throughout your stay. The Will Call windows typically open one hour before park opening.

Actually, your old magic band will still work if you can see it activated on the website. If you log in where you see your tickets, there is a section called 'my magic bands and cards' that show all my magic bands. (This is available on the disney world website, not just the app.)

Thank you all so much for your answers and help and calming me! I'll try to find this Ticket Center in Disney Springs, have no idea where it is. And what you call a Guest Relations window is what I call a cash desk, on the right from a Magic Kingdom entrance?

6 years ago I sucessfully used Disney App with my old iphone, they banned it only recently, may be just for my country, I don't know. For example Disney + is available for downloading, WDW no.

Try to download the app once you’re in the US and connected to your hotel or Disney wifi.

Magic Bands are just a digital way to link to everything on your Disney profile- tickets, dining reservations, etc. As long as the band is registered to your account as described above you can use it for all that stuff no matter how old the band is.

The only reason you should go to Disney springs ticket center is if you are going to Disney springs the day before you visit a park, otherwise it is a complete waste of time. All parks have ticket sales windows in front of or off to the side of the entrances that can help you (like off to the right side when you go to the Magic Kingdom entrance).

Thank you! The problem with the phone is not the american ip, but the country name that you set while you set your iphone. You choose the country when you start using it. So the Appstore checks not the ip but the country set on your iphone. Setting the wrong country is against the rules, also several years ago they demanded to link a credit card issued by the country set on your phone.

Yes, you are quite right. Even while in the US, your phone will most likely not allow the app to be downloaded.

We faced this in Aug shin visiting friends in California. I wanted to order something on an app that is not available in Canada. Even though I was in the US at the time, I still could not download the app.

Just one of the many hurdles we face as International guests.

Thankfully Disney has an abundance of International guests so will have something you can use even without having the app. Unfortunately I would guess that purchasing Genie+ and Ill$ may not be possible as there would probably not be a way to book LLs.

If it is possible, hopefully someone will share their experience here.

Has anyone tried using a VPN on mobile to trick the phone? Not sure if this works since even when here it dosnt work.. but never know

Yes, had to do this to buy MNSSHP tickets in the UK because we can only access the UK/Europe version of the site. Weirdly, even when actually physically at WDW (I could see Spaceship Earth!) I still kept being directed to the UK site and had to trick it into letting me access the US one.

I think the guest experience CMs, umder blue umbrella, could assist you.

Explain your situation at guest services. I have no idea if Disney has devices you can borrow, rent or buy. A cheap tablet is all you need.

I have taken many trips without the MDE app. The biggest issue I had was dining check-in and mobile order during the stricter covid rules of 2021. I use the website for linking tickets, park reservations, and planning, and use an old Magicband from 2020. As someone else said, you can use your old Magicband as long as you can see it on your profile on the website and link your tickets on the website. Call Disney and get connected to their IT department if you have any trouble linking your tickets. Then you should just be able to scan your old Magicband at the park gate.

Not sure how you can use Genie Plus or Lightening Lanes without the app since we never buy those anyways.

I lost my old magic ban I think already then in 2016. What do you mean by "linking reservations through the site"? I'm going to do just as I was advised in the previous messages. Print out my 18 digit numbers, bring my passport and the credit card to the Ticket center or Guest relations.

When do you plan to go? Not having tickets or park passes might limit your park availability..

Oh, I thought you still had the Magicband. If you have a Magicband or ticket card, there is a section on the My Disney Experience part of the Disney World website (or on the US version of the website there is) and you can put in the Ticket numbers on the website instead of going to the Ticket Center. But it only works if you still have the Magicband

I am arriving to the US on the 1st of December. I have bought already tickets on the website and reserved a plase at each park. When I press My Disney Experience I see them as 18 digit numbers with park names.

Magic Band lost.

Yes, you can enter the parks without having the MDE app on your phone. Go to any ticket booth at the first park you have a reservation for - or the day you arrive - you can do so too.

You can purchase a magic band, but it is not necessary to spend the $30+ to do so. Since you're staying near Disney Springs, if it's walkable to Disney Springs, you can go the day you arrive to guest services and get a hard ticket that will serve as your admission media.

If you do it at the parks (get your admission media), just make sure to arrive half an hour before the park opens to get it, in case there is a line/back-up in line at the ticket booths. Print up a copy of your tickets/confirmation that you purchased tickets from the Disney website and bring it with you.

It may be helpful if you mention the country and then someone can assist you with other options. Not having a phone available to access MDE during your trip is going to be really challenging when trying to use Genie+

How much do throw away phones cost these days? Is that a viable option? No idea how long you are visiting for
Few days, likely not worth even trying
Few weeks, may be
Luckily, first of December is not a super busy time so you can probably make do without using Genie at all.
But Disney really has designed their park experience to benefit most by someone with a smart phone. If there's a way you can obtain even a throw away, basic one, maybe try that? I've never looked in to them so honestly, no idea if they are even something that would do the job
Just that I know folks who do the opposite, travel to Europe and by throw away phones because their US phones won't work there

Otherwise, I would speak to the GS Blue Umbrella folks and see what they suggest. I have to believe you are not the first guests who can't use the app so surely they have options to offer up of some sort. Maybe they go make plans for the day, each day? It won't be ideal but it will be something
