Can you edit info after online check in?

Hi - I'm new to DCL and am about to check-in online. Through the process, I realized that I need to get my passports out of my security deposit box at the bank and update the expiration dates for the kids because I had them renewed after my original cruise reservations were made. However, I can enter all other information at this time.

If I "complete my online check in", will I still later be able to go in and edit information like the passport info?

Is there anything else I should know about?

Absolutely--I do it all the time to add/change my air info. Just click the button that says "edit", but you can't see this button till after you have "completed" the check in.

I just received our renewed passports and had to update the online check-in information -it was super easy. Just make sure to update each person individually. I tried to do two at once and only one persons' info was saved.

Good point--when I did our air, I had to put in in over again for each person...thought I'd messed up something or the system was not behaving.

So in order to get a great boarding time it is my understanding that I need to check in at midnight. How much and what information do I have to complete when I check in to do this. At midnight I was just planning to get my boarding time and polo reservations. I figure I can worry about the rest later. Is this possible?

At Midnight, you can book Palo (as well as excursions, spa services, Remy or child care service). I recommend booking Palo immediately. On our cruise, the Silver CC members reported extremely limited Palo availability right at midnight. You can always book once on-board too.

Unfortunately, you cannot check-in on-line until 3:00 am. Checking-in on-line allows you to select a Port Arrival Time, but NOT a boarding #. On our cruise, the Silver CC members reported lots of availability of the 11:00 am earliest port arrival time even if they did not stay up until 3 am, but instead waited until the next day.

Once you arrive at the port for your cruise, you will be given a boarding # (not sure how it works if you check-in for DCL transfers at the airport).

With respect to what you need to check-in on-line, all I needed was my credit card to put on file for charging on-board. For the flight information, I just put that I was driving.
