DW brought home two pieces of Cheesecake Factory cheesecake this past weekend(one for me, one for DD). This morning DD (19 home from college for the summer) called and asked why I'd eat her cheesecake without asking. I did not eat her cheesecake, though I ate mine on Sunday night.:D There are only three people in the house: DD, DW, and me. Neither DW or I ate the cheesecake, which means DW ATE HER CHEESECAKE WHILE SHE "SLEEPWALKED/ATE". Has this happened to anyone else?
She was sooooo disappointed that she ate it and doesn't remember it.

My brother walked in his sleep forever (I think he still does) I remember one morning gettting up, finding the bottle of soy sauce in the sink, the shaker top pried off, and then 'sprayed' all over the counter, backsplash, and sink. Seemed he got it from the fridge, pried the top off, and took a BIG gulp. :p Bleah! Then apparently, he did not care for it  and spit it out.

So yes, I think it is possible.

Hmmm. I haven't done that, but it sounds possible. :) LOL!!! Look at Deb's poor brother!!! That being said, who's to say you didn't sleepwalk and eat her cheesecake Micca?? :earseek: :teeth: :p :p

A few months ago I was watching one of the weekly news shows (I think it might have been Nightline) and they had a segment on people who eat in their sleep. It was weird to watch them. Some of them even eat lying down! I don't see how they don't choke.

LOL, yes you can do it. I quit smoking about 8-9 weeks ago, and have "woken up" eating several times. In my sleep, I know of 2 full tubs of cake icing that I have eaten. Sad thing is, I don't even like icing LOL. It I don't stop doing it soon, I am going to find a shrink or something.

Can you eat in your sleep?

Well, don't know for sure but I do know that I have gained weight overnight while I was sleeping. Does that count?:p

I admit I'm not above eating someone else's cheesecake, but if I did I would 'fess up to it. I don't sleep walk/eat(as far as I know)

my husband chews in his sleep and he shaves also it is so funny to watch but he hasn't gotten out of be to eat in his sleep:D

A friend's Dad did. They finally had to keep the upstairs fridge empty and keep food only in the basement one with that door latched at the top. He would even eat a whole jar of mayonaise. He had some serious health problems, and this was part of the problem. Sadly, he passed on several years ago.

INteresting. I know I only slept walked when I was younger, but never to the extent of eating.

I know in my neighbourhood, there was that landmark case where this man drove 30 minutes into town (near where I live) went into his MIL's house and stabbed her to death. Apparently all while he was sleep walking. It was later turn into a TV movie. He was of course charged with murder but the jury found him innocent because he indeed was sleep-walking... Can't believe that he could drive 30 minutes on the highway and park his car, open the door and then to the kitchen, get a knife, go upstairs, into the bedroom and then stab his MIL. Apparently his wife believed his story.... Even though they eventually divorced, she always stood by his story.

It's possible, but I've never done it. My son fake feeds himself in his sleep all the time. It's pretty funny to watch him do it. He's very entertaining to watch when he's asleep.:p He talks in his sleep too. I learn all kinds of funny things when he's asleep.:teeth:
