Can you compare Kona Cafe "then" & "now"?

Howdy! From 2002 to 2005, Kona Cafe was one of our most favorite breakfast places. The "regular" Kona coffee (that is, the elixir of life that they brought you if you ordered coffee, not the separately priced kona coffee) that they served was heavenly, the food was delicious -- all good. Last time we went (2006), we were disappointed. That carafe of coffee was NOT the same stuff it had been, the food was OK but not what it had been previously (I know, I know, the general decline brought on by DDP!).

Can anyone out there compare a fairly recent experience with the "old days" and tell me how it stacked up? We're trying to decide if we give it one more try or if we knock it off our list.

Hey mickeysaver -- thanks for the feedback. I noticed your upcoming Discovery Cove trip -- where are you staying while you're doing that and Sea World? We're thinking about DC and SW (which we love) and doing them upfront for our next trip, so we're looking at "outside" hotels before we check in to WDW. Appreciate any info/advice, and have a GREAT trip!
