I've been paying close attention on this board, THANKS! to everyone :)

Can you experts take a look at this and tell me if it looks correct? We are picking up a car at MCO and staying at the Yacht Club. Depending if the flight is on time or late we may or may not stop at Publix or WalMart so I've made directions for both.

IF going directly to the Yacht Club:

Take north exit from the airport to 528 Beeline Expressway (West), to
I-4 heading West (& south) to
Exit 26 A/B EPCOT Center Drive
Left on Buena Vista Drive to
Right on Epcot Resorts Blvd.

IF going to Publix or WalMart:

Take south exit from the airport to 417 Florida Greenway to
Left on 535 (Vineland Rd), follow this to the intersection with
192 (Irlo Bronson Mem Hwy), Publix is at the intersection of 535 & 192
If on to WalMart go Left on 192 and follow for 2-3 miles
Pass intersection of N. Bass Road and it’s close – Walmart at Yates Road & 192

Back to Yacht Club:
Head West on 192 (Irlo Bronson Mem Hwy) to
North on 535 (Vineland Rd) to
Slight Left onto 536 West
536 becomes EPCOT Center Drive (bear right on Typhoon Lagoon Access Road)
Left on Buena Vista Drive to
Right on Epcot Resorts Blvd.

THANKS!
Meredith :D

to get to the YC you still want to take the south exit to get on the toll road 417 to get to disney. its way better and faster than the beeline. once you get to the resort they also have direction sheets printed out for you too.

THANK YOU! I knew this was the right place to ask! I was wondering about that 528/I-4. I go with the "southern route" - so that would be 417 to 535 to 536?

You really don't want to be near the Beeline and especially I-4 anywhere near rush hour. Trust us on this. :) :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

If your stop at the market will be for basic supermarket stuff, I might offer a simpler (and perhaps less expensive) alternative.

Taking the 417 Greeneway, exit at Orange Blossom Trail. There's a great big Albertson's market right there, and you can hop off 417 and right back on. It will add a tiny 50 cents to your tolls.

If you decide to wait until you get to WDW before going to the market, there's a Publix on International Drive, just off of Osceola Parkway, just north of the intersection of I-Drive and 192.

Thank you, Cigar95!! It sounds much easier to just go to the Albertsons. We only want to pick up a few breakfast items, snacks and milk. Anything that lets me avoid 192 makes me happy :) We've made a lot of daytrips to Disney from south Florida and I dread that drive on 192 from the Turnpike. I'd love it if I never even see 192 on this vacation :)

I have a question for Cigar95, you mentioned this option to a post of mine several weeks ago and i think it sounds great. i really like to know where im going way before i need to turn off (drives my husband nuts) so could you please tell me about where the turn off for the Orange Blossom Trail is. Is it near the airport or closer to the 192,535 area. Thank you!!!

TWO DAYS LEFT!!!:pinkbounc

Well, let's see if this works. Here's a URL:

http://mapquest.com/cgi-bin/ia_find...yx04z_)r25uwb_1.lq(6,qej|ynbgmej,fwgf-d&pcat=

If this doesn't work, the address in question for any of your favorite mapping web sites is:

Albertson's Food and Drug
12981 S ORANGE BLOSSOM TRL, ORLANDO, FL, 32837-6592, US

In particular, the exit looks like it's less than half way from MCO to WDW. And it might be labelled "Highway 17/92", or something similar. Though not labelled, the Greeneway is running east-west right through the middle of the map, and OBT/17/92 is the orange-colored north-south road on the left side of the map.

The market is just *north* of the highway, and it will be on your right.

Hope this is useful.

(As an aside, I have to thank our friend "bicker", who first told me about this one.)

Thanks for the info, Cigar95, you just knocked my stress level down a couple of notches.
