Visiting the parks this weekend and thinking about bringing a small backpack into the park to carry my water bottle, wallet, jacket, etc.

Can you take the bag with you on rides like Tower of Terror or Expedition Everest?

Thanks!

I used a draw string back pack and brought it on all of the rides. Cant remember if I had it on ToT or not.

Yep. Most rides have a mesh bag you can tuck things into.

The only one that might be a problem is RNRC since it goes upside down. Had my bag an everything I rode.

Actually, because of the centrifugal force, your bag won't fall out. However, if you want to feel more secure, you could put your foot through one of the straps. Especially since I go solo, I like to do that to make sure I don't leave it behind.

I'm pretty sure you can bring your bag on every ride. At least when I was there in November/December I was able to to my bag on TOT and EE!! Enjoy the parks!!

Yes. I use a crossbody and only ever take it off for Everest and put it in the seat back pocket.. I just adjust the strap looser or tighter depending on the ride restraints for other rides. I either keep it in front or tuck it in between me and the side of the ride seat. i have ridden many people who have large backpacks. No one has ever lost one off a ride that I've seen. As another poster said, stick your leg through the strap and put the bag on the floor. The mesh bags on the seat backs won't hold a large backpack. They will hold a small drawstring bag or messenger style.

Yes I almost always carry a cross body backpack and take it on all of the rides with me. Some of the rollercoasters I make sure I put my foot through one of the straps on it so it doesn't move. You should be fine. Have a nice trip! pixiedust:

Second Siskaren on that one. I wasn't ready for it and freaked out a bit and just rammed my foot on top of the bag - lucky I didn't break my glasses! LOL

Cross body bag was fine in EE, I didn't do TOT. I think the only place I used lockers during our Orlando stay was at the Darkside on the HP rides and RnR.

I carry my camera bag on rides, even RnRC and ToT. I just put my leg through the shoulder strap and put it under my leg. It holds just fine.

You bet you can. I took mine on every ride including RnRC. Just kept it at my feet during the rides.

We pack a smaller book bag every time we WDW(5x), and have never had a problem taking it on any ride we like. You should be fine.

More like you have to take your bag on every ride. Kali has lockers and Soarin will move large bags to an area between seats. Other than that, the load and unload areas are usually different locations and the CMs do not move bags for you.

I've taken a small crossbody bag and kept it on for every ride. I always found it comfortable. I prefer this to placing a bag in the storage areas because I'm distracted on certain rides by worrying that my bag will fall out of them (yes, even as unlikely as I know that is).

As my husband found out, wearing a ball cap on your head can mean more of a loss than taking a bag with you on a ride. So now he takes off the cap, puts it in the bag and everything is cool on all rides at Disney World. If there's no mesh bag on the ride, just put your bag at your feet, put on foot through a strap and enjoy.

There are free lockers near Kali River Rapids to hold stuff but it's limited to a few hours and the lockers are only there as some guests didn't want anything to get wet. After the few hours, you need to pay to get your stuff back so it's a temporary thing intended for that one attraction.

Soarin has nets under the seats to store bags, but if you have any fragile objects such as electronics, you can stash them in an area on the floor.

RnRC is the only ride where I've felt my backpack was unsafe at my feet...a couple of times its floated up into my legs and I had to grab it. Now I just put my leg through the strap when boarding.

I always put my foot through a strap on my bag - makes me feel a lot better as I think it's less likely to get lost :)
