Can you cancel pre-cruise purchases once you're on board?

For example, if booking a daybed on Coco Cay via the cruise planner, can you cancel the booking once you're on board? And if so, up to what point? I'm asking in the context of booking something, but the weather is not looking like it will be as good as hoped.

I think purchases need to be cancelled 48 hours before the reservation would happen.

I believe as previous poster said it's 48 hrs as well, we had to cancel some excursions on our cruise last week and we had no issues. The refund went to my onboard account though.
