can you buy 1/2 day passes?

when you get to the park? i only ask because we're not checking into our hotel until around 2:00 pm and are planning on doing MGM for our first night but it will only be from 4 pm or so on. can i get a 1/2 day pass when i get there instead of paying for a full day on my hopper pass?

No. There's no such thing as a half-day pass.

Wish there was a 1/2 day pass. We get in around 3pm on Sat and I don't want to use one of my hopper just for a half day. So we won't be doing the parks until Sun

How many days are your hoppers for???? There's only a $1-$2 difference when adding on a day, if you already have 3 day hoppers or more...
