Umm I think a lot of you are misunderstanding OP. I don't think they want pixie dust or some loyalty treatment, I think they've had a room in the past at x resort that they've stayed in and thought, "wow! This is a nice room for (literally any reason from the view, to accessibility, to the location)." So when they book that resort again, they can make a room request, which are free to make during online check-in but not guaranteed.
I went in August 2018 and don't remember the exact room # I stayed in, for example. OP doesn't remember either, I assume, and wants a history of their trips so they can find out the exact room # and request it again for their next trip.
