Can we visit BWV pool if we have family there?

It is what you do constantly.

but, here is an example from this thread of people being told what they can or cannot do:

"Going to a pool at a resort where you are not staying is called "Pool Hopping" and it is not allowed"

I love it. You make accusations towards me and then cite someone else's post. That in itself makes you lose all credibility.

Anne

I expect people don't post because if they ask and get turned down, that's what they expected would happen, according to the policy.

Not much of a surprise, but I disagree. Not everyone posts on or reads these boards. Just from the number of new posts on an almost daily basis from people asking if they can pool hop, it seems to me there are a lot of people who either don't know or aren't sure what policy is.

Besides, considering some of the silly things people post and complain about not getting, I doubt there would be much hesitation about complaining about this one.

I think it's much more likely that people who ask and areallowed to swim would post about that. (Plus, one the reverse side, I have seen very few posts where people said "I asked and was told it was OK.")

Actually, I read quite a few posts from people who asked and were allowed. It's a pretty common occurance during one of these pool hopping threads for someone to post about being allowed to swim at a resort they were not a guest of. As a matter of fact, there's one on this very thread.

Anne, you really need to be able to put together coherent thoughts.

I never mentioned you on these threads until you started in on me. You need to get a grip. The sun does not rise & set off of your rear end, although you seem to think it does. You asked for an example, & I gave you one. I didn't even mention how you suggested they use the moderate instead of the deluxe because of you elitist attitudes.

as for Geoff_M,
it said wht it said. go away. you are silly.

You don't get it do you?

I suggested they use the pools at CBR for several reasons.

1. They are less crowded.

2. If the relatives are DVC members they will be able to hop with less hassle.

3. They are nicely themed.

"awatt--thanks for your psot. However I think it would be more fair to the BC/YC/BCV guests who already have overcrowded pools if the OP's family swam with them at the markedly less crowded CBR pools. Especially if they are DVC members who can do so without having to get any special permission."

ducklite it's nice that you are concerned about SAB, however, the poster's original question was about BWV.

To Goodfella, have your DM check with the front desk to see if swimming there as their guest will be a problem.

If they are under their room occupancy, they should be able to get extra keys for you to use. For example, a 2 bedroom is a max of 8 and they only have 6 people, they can get 2 more keys for you.

Good idea. :D If that's not an option, just ask at the front desk.

Please refrain from personal attacks on this thread. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and interpritation of the rules. The rules are clearly stated, but WDW has made exceptions to the rules in the past. The best advice is to seek permission.

Please refrain from making this a private discussion between two people on the boards. If this spaaing continues steps will be taken.

I didn't mean to cause an argument people but man did it get heated.I just think I'm going to stay at my pool I stayed at CBR before and it was great my kids are going to love it & I kinda like it better than the BWV's pool. I was just thinking about my mom and what would be easier for her.
Thanks everybody for their responses it was helpful but next time no fighting
