can we use the disney bus service to DTD if

we are staying at the double tree in DTD. If so, is it close enough to walk or does double tree provide transportation? I want to stay offsite to save $$$ and hubby doesnt want to drive, he wants us to all use bus service, can this be done?

They do do buses to the parks and downtown disney from the resorts in that area. You can also easily walk to Marketplace from there. You however cant get a bus to any of the parks directly from DTD you have to go via a Disney resort
