I've been paying my childrens allowance in Disney Dollars in preparation for our upcoming trip. Can they be used for snacks at the little stands throughout the park? I thought they would enjoy spending there own "money" on treats for themselves.

Also, how is the change paid back?

Thanks!

Yes, they can spend Disney Dollars at the snack carts. They will just get the change back in regular dollars or coins. We always get our "snack money" in Disney Dollars because they are fun to spend.

ABSOLUTELY!!! Just got back. Used both disney dollars and real dollars everywhere. Never a problem.

Have fun!

Yes, and I love it because they're so cute! :) I always buy $5 or $10 when I'm at the mall in the couple months before my trip, and then I have a nice little stash by the time I go.

They also make good *tooth fairy* gifts...in addition to the usual birthday, holiday, report card rewards....we just love those Disney Dollars! :p

You can use it throughout the resort. It's even ok to use as tips for resort housekeepers (I have called the front desk manager at VWL to see if I can leave Disney Dollars, and informed yes).
