Can we preorder Photopass Plus in th UK?

Morning all! I keep reading about photopass plus and that there is a discount if you pre-order. Is this available to UK customers? Is it restricted to people staying on property at Disney?
Also, does anyone have a link? Thanks in advance

Yes you can. As long as you leave 14 clear days to allow for delivery (you need the voucher) you're fine. Mine arrived in under a week

You can still do the regular Photopass CD with the pre purchase discount as has been the case before. PP+ just adds ride and character meal photos (where applicable) to your collection but there is no obligation to go for this if you don't feel you would use it.

So for $40 more I can get the plus package. If we got the photos from Ohana and a couple of the rides it pays for its self or am I missing something?

Nope, you're absolutely right - not missing anything

That's why it was a no brainer for us.

It only won't work if
- You do a short trip
- You don't do many rides where there are photos available (or you would never have purchased them in any event) and if you don't do photo package character meals

THere is no advantage for CRT and Akershus as the photos are included in any event for those two, but for the rest like Ohana, Chef Mickey, 1900 Park Fare, etc, it will be to your advantage

Ordered our Photopass Plus after 19.00hrs UK time on Monday, it was on the doorstep on Friday morning, direct from USA. Most stuff I order at home takes longer to arrive.

Yes, I did notice they used express shipping for it. My photopass CD's have always taken much longer to get here. In 2010 I waited over 4 weeks from the date of dispatch. So they are being pretty good at making sure international guests don't have a problem

I have been using my photopass + for the last week, most successfully.

It does include the full printed photo package and a digital download for character dining, plus the digital download on all rides. The full printed package was $31.95 at Tusker House today without the photopass +. Each digital download sells for $14.95 on the rides.

It does not take long to cover the value of the full pass if you attend a few character dining events and add ride photo's over 14 days.

The only limit is on the rides and dining photos that must be within the same two weeks. You can add ordinary photos before or after. Just been looking through the Photo gallery CD that came with it and it is really nice. I got one a couple of years ago but there are quite a lot of new pictures and I am very pleased with it.

I also like that they've added to the photo gallery. I actually took a few weeks to get round to looking at it as it appeared to be the same as the one I bought by looking at the packaging, but they have added some lovely extras on there

The cd I bought back in 2009 did seem to have more photo's, but this new one has some smashing newer pics.

Sounds like the PhotoPass+ is the one for us. Anyone have any thoughts on these three issues:

1. We are there for 18 nights, so obviously 4 nights we won't be able to use it on the rides/meals. As we don't have many character meals scheduled the first couple of days, can we use it as a normal photopass until our first ride photo or meal photo? Do we just say when we want that part of the package to start?

2. Should it work ok for our party, which is 4 adults and 2 children. If we ride a photo-ride in different combinations (due to children and scaredycat adults not riding) can we have more than one photo of a ride on the same day?

3. Can we each have a card just for the standard photos, all on the same 'account' and just have the one 'master' card for the ride photos/meal photos?

Yes and no. It becomes active from when you redeem the voucher, not from when you first use it so what i would do is grab a regular PP card for those first few days, then go get the PP + card the night before or the morning that you want to start using it. When you get home all you do is add both codes to your account. If you start with PP+ when you get there it will assume you have had the option of ride photos and character meal pics even if you don't get any those days.

Yes. Every ride photo has a different number so you would collect both numbers when you exit the ride and have both added to your card at the photo desk. No limit to how many you can add.

You only get one PP+ Card per group but you can use more regular cards and add them to your account. If you separate for rides, collect your photo numbers and go back later to add the missing ones on. (there is a window but its 24 or 48 hours so very reasonable
