Oh my gosh, me too!!! You know, right there across the soccer fields where that field holds water really bad after a storm? I just knew that road would be closed!!! Then when I crossed over Etowah at the old bridge Oh my gosh!!! It still looks pretty high!!

Yep, I know those fields! I was so worried I was going to be stranded at work, and then, I was going to be very mad.

I eyeballed the river today on my way home, and it doesn't look like it has gone down very much -- I hope we don't get too much rain this weekend.

Wanna no the worst part? Two weeks at Disney and it rained about 20 minutes the entire trip. It rained in Georgia the entire two weeks. Then, we get home, and it stops raining.

I thought this was really sweet!! We went to the dog races and Chad was showing Hollie where the "rabbit" starts running from and then showed her the route it takes. I got this picture in the process....so cute!

I freaked as well when I heard about the boil water thing. I didn't know what I should be boiling for. Baths? Brushing teeth? Drinking? Cooking? I was as confused as you were. But glad it's been lifted. Anyways, just wanted to stop in and say Hi to my "neighbor"!!

You are so funny talking about your panic mode. I am just the opposite. I wouldn't believe a tornado was coming until it was twirling me around in the air...and even then, I might question it if it wasn't spinning fast enough. I'm a very non-panicking person, so I laugh (all in good fun, of course) at people like you!

Yea!!!!! Someone that panics like I do! I totally would have thought I was contaminated by the water!!! LOL I worry too much! That is probably why at 32 I have to dye my hair...panic and stress leads to grays!!!!!!!

LOL!! I tend to freak out a little in panic mode! Its everyone around me who has to keep me calm. Really the only time I am calm is if Hollie is around me when stuff is going on. Then I am in calm-mommy-mode!

Finally...I am putting the rest of our pictures on here!! Our last full day there we woke up to rain! Boo!!! But, Hollie decided she wanted to run around in the rain and we let her!


This is a hat Jim wears and we crack up at him!

Chad and I went to meet his older sis for some lunch at Margaritaville. Hollie wanted to stay and swim with his mom.

Look!! I found my lost shaker of salt!

We went back to the room and just hung out until it was time to get ready for dinner!

The rest of the pictures are of us before dinner! We went to eat at Boondock's..OMG!! If you ever go to PCB you have to eat there! Its the best!!! After dinner we went to the dog track. Hollie had so much fun!! She sat down by the fence and made some friends with a little girl and her brother. After every race Hollie would turn around and yell, "Daddo, did we win??" As the races were getting started, she would turn around and yell, "Hey daddo!! I pick dog number 5." or she would pick another number. Needless to say, she kept everyone entertained!

And on the way home! You knew I was gonna take a few pics of the houses in Eufaula!! I love it there!!

I love this one!! You can tell they are doing something to it.

Thats it!!! I know its not a lot but its keeping this place alive over here right now until our trip!

It was a little chilly this time when we went. I would say it was probably around 75-80. When I go on my girls trips in April/May its usually around 72-80. It was sooo pretty this time around! I just love a clear ocean with no seaweed floating around!

Oh, I sure would!! I love all of those houses on that little street! I love, love, love old houses, especially some that look like they belong in a movie!

hahaha Its funny you say that!! Hollie was chasing them at one time and when she stopped to feed them fruit loops (which they really liked) she looked at us and said, "Why don't they say mine, mine, mine?"
But, then again...when I saw them all I could think of was, "oooh, what would Dawn do about right now!!"

Our next trip is gonna be to North Carolina to ride the Polar Express on the smoky mountain railroad. Then after that, we are going to Santa's Land the next day. I am excited! I love staying in Cherokee!!
