thank you so much Kelly!! :goodvibes

:lovestruc Happy Anniversary! You are a great couple! :lovestruc

The video of Hollie dancing is hilarious...she is mingling....dancing....hopping....twisting her little heart out!
Too funny!

Thanks girl!!!! :goodvibes

I could watch that video everyday! She just cracks me up when she starts twisting!! lol!!

Happy Anniversary Heather:bride::groom:! The time sure does fly, doesn't it? DH and I have been married over 13 years now and I swear, it felt like yesterday!!

I hope you're feeling well too! Did you figure out your Disney dates yet??:goodvibes

Aww thanks girl!!
It sure does fly by! You are so right, it does just feel like yesterday!

Not yet...its driving me nuts!! My mom said she would not bother her with the dates until probably June or early July. So, if my sis can't go...then it will just be me, my mom, and Hollie....which is fine by me! :rotfl:

Well, with my pregnancy brain I realized I had completely forgotten something on our departure day. Do you guys rememeber the neighbor who called security on us and would just let her kids wonder outside the room? I told you to remember that little girl!!!
Well, as Hollie and I were going to refill our mugs while Chad took our luggage to the car...the little girl was outside. I told Hollie to come with me and I turned around once we got to the elevator and the little girl was with us. I told her she needed to go back to her mommy and she said to me, "She said I can go anywhere in the resort as long as I stay around the whole place." WHAT!!!!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!! Well, I told her we were leaving and she might want to go back to her room. NOPE..she got on the elevator with us and was talking to Hollie. We walked to the main building and she was still following us. I turned and told her to go back and check in with her mom because she might be worried. She said, "Nope, I can go anywhere I want to here! So I am going with ya'll." By this time I was a little upset that the mom probably had NO CLUE whatsoever where her child was. Now, this girl couldn't have been any older than probably 5 or 6. So, I made an excuse that I needed to get something I left in the "room" so we walked back and she stayed with us. We get back upstairs and she knocks on the door. Her mom answers and says, "Hey baby..what are you doing?" I told her mom that she was following us to the main building and I told her she might needed to check with her first. Do you know what this lady said???? She looked at me and said, "Well, if ya'll don't mind she can just go with ya'll. I told her she could go anywhere around here as long as she didn't get in the pool. My mouth literally dropped!!!!! I told her, Well we are leaving to go home...but it sure was nice to meet ya'll...and I walked off holding Hollie's hand. The nerve of some parents!!

I am stunned!!!

Who lets their kids do that???

I mean, my goodness, I don't even let Chelsea and Connor wander around the resorts on their own!

Unbelievable!

I believe you, but...

unbelievable. :sad2:

You would think people who would bother to spend the money for a Disney resort would bother to care about their kids. I feel sorry for the poor girl. She'll just find her way into whatever and whoever will accept her in life, and it's not always going to be good, kind people like you guys. That is very sad for her.

:scared1::eek::confused3 That is just plain bizarre and totally irresponsible parent behavior. Good grief! Heather, that little girl is lucky that you were kind enough to bring her back to her mom's door. Where is this woman's brain? Sheesh, some people...:rolleyes1

Happy Belated Anniversary Heather & Chad !!!

Some people just do not care what happens to there kids ! Crazy I tell you , just crazy !

I always say I will be the Mom still walking there kid to there classroom come middle school ! DS6 has kids in his class which is Kindergarten , so some kids are 5 that ride there bikes home or walk by themselves , I would never in a million years let my kids do that, to many crazies out there today !

Heather, are you serious? That is messed up, lol. I know we feel really safe when we are in Disney, but we never know what creeps are out there waiting. Poor kid.

happy belated anniversary!

i can't believe that lady letting her little girl go anywhere. i will say it again....another reason i think people should have to pass a test before they procreate. :sad2:

I'm mad I missed wishing you and Chad a Happy Anniversary. So in honor of that blessed event, let me sing you this song.
"Happy Anniverary. Happy Anniversary. Happy AnniversarY... HAAAAAppy Anniversary!"
Did you like it? :rotfl:
Back to the child neglect parent, why would you bring your kid to Disney just to let her be on her own. Like what is so important in your room that you can't watch or take a walk with your child? That little of a child to boot!

Guess they are thinking Disney will babysit.
Talk about neglect. Did you call security and report these idiots?
That poor kid.

WHAT THE *@!& :scared1: Who the HE** tells their young kids they can go wherever they want?!?!?!? The Mom is lucky the kid decided to follow you and not someone scarier!

That is soooo scary. I am still nervous letting my teenagers go off on their own! I know, I know, I am over the top but come on!!! I can't believe anyone would let their 5 year old child roam around alone!

Add me to the list of people wishing you a belated Happy Anniversary!!

I cannot believe that woman! Colby is 6 and we never let him out of our sight. Just because it is Disney doesn't mean it is safe, I mean really did that little girl think she could just hop in the car with you? Wow. :confused3

Just finished reading your entire TR! Loved it and can't wait to hear about your all-girls trip!

Congrats on the upcoming arrival on your new little girl!

I am stunned!!!

Who lets their kids do that???

I mean, my goodness, I don't even let Chelsea and Connor wander around the resorts on their own!

I know...I still can't believe it! That little girl was so sweet and it was like she was starved for attention that she would just latch on to anyone

It was just awful

:scared1::eek::confused3 That is just plain bizarre and totally irresponsible parent behavior. Good grief! Heather, that little girl is lucky that you were kind enough to bring her back to her mom's door. Where is this woman's brain? Sheesh, some people...:rolleyes1

She had an older sister that would just go stay in the room while her mom and grandmother were in there. but, the younger girl...she would just stand out on the balcony. It was awful!

Unbelievable!

I believe you, but...

unbelievable. :sad2:

You would think that! I felt bad for making her go back to her room because it was obvious she just wanted to play, but I would never let Hollie wander around. Even when she is 13 years old, she won't go wandering around a hotel!

Happy Belated Anniversary Heather & Chad !!!

Thanks girl!

I agree...some just don't care!

Oh me too!! I have already said when Hollie graduates from High school and when she goes on a senior trip. Guess who will be taking her somewhere? Her mom and dad. She can take a friend, but there will be no Aruba, PCB, anywhere by herself. No way!

Heather, are you serious? That is messed up, lol. I know we feel really safe when we are in Disney, but we never know what creeps are out there waiting. Poor kid.

It was very messed up! We do feel safe, and I guess this lady just assumed her daughter could come and go as she pleases..it was sad.

happy belated anniversary!

i can't believe that lady letting her little girl go anywhere. i will say it again....another reason i think people should have to pass a test before they procreate. :sad2:

Aww, thanks Dawn!

I agree.....they should have to take a huge test!

I'm mad I missed wishing you and Chad a Happy Anniversary. So in honor of that blessed event, let me sing you this song.
"Happy Anniverary. Happy Anniversary. Happy AnniversarY... HAAAAAppy Anniversary!"

Awww, its okay! Thank you so much!! lol!!

I LOVED IT!! ;)

I still have no clue what the mom was doing in the room. I never saw her dad, just her mom, grandmom, and older sister.

Unbelievable!!! Poor kid...:sad2:

I know, it was sad

That poor kid.

I know!! Everytime we would leave our room...she would be outside on the balcony just standing there. I kept telling Chad that someone was gonna get her if her mom didn't start watching her.

WHAT THE *@!& :scared1: Who the HE** tells their young kids they can go wherever they want?!?!?!? The Mom is lucky the kid decided to follow you and not someone scarier!

I don't blame you! When we take Hollie to the mall, I still make her ride in a stroller and she still has to wear her brickhouse child locator.

Add me to the list of people wishing you a belated Happy Anniversary!!

I cannot believe that woman! Colby is 6 and we never let him out of our sight. Just because it is Disney doesn't mean it is safe, I mean really did that little girl think she could just hop in the car with you? Wow. :confused3

Aww, thanks girl!

I know, I am like you. I dont' let Hollie out of my sight period!

Just finished reading your entire TR! Loved it and can't wait to hear about your all-girls trip!

Congrats on the upcoming arrival on your new little girl!

Aww, thank you so much and :welcome:

Aww thank you! We are very, very excited! :goodvibes

Well, so I was talking to my mom tonight about Disney. She actually brought it up first which is good! She asked me if I had said anything to my sister again about dates and I said absolutely not! So, as luck would have it..my sister called right then. My mom just came out and asked her if she knew if her boss had any other days he was taking off. Well, first my sister said August...I said NO WAY!! Too hot and too crowded!! Of course, my mom told her no considering I am due July 26th. Then my mom told her she preferred October, November, December. My sister argued a little but its like we told her. She would only have to take off 2 days!! She said she would let us know when he decided he would be off later this year. She then brought up March or April. Now...I don't know if I am too keen on those months. I have never been those months so if anyone has any knowledge of the crowds then and the weather...PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!! :)

Oh and I won't be on much tomorrow. Chad and I are going to see David Copperfield!! YAY!! We just love going to see him!

Oh, and we have finally came up with a name!
;)
