What kind of parties, etc. are there? My friend claims that these parties are for the "young and beautiful" people and he never attends them. He is an "average" 50 year old guy. He is shy and I would love to help him meet someone but don't want to get involved in a "gay frat party" environment where neither of us would be comfortable. Is there any party or event that anyone would recommend?

While some of the parties are more the S&M style (as in "Stand and Model"), there is something for everyone at that time of year

How do you sign up for the Grammar Spelling Police? Is there a uniform? Swearing in Ceremony? Please let there be a sparkly- I mean shiny- badge!

Also - how do I get one of these "Gay Cards"? God forbid (no pun) I should find myself in a situation where it were needed. Are they available online? Cause I like to buy stuff online. Discreetly. Will I receive an ACTUAL Gay Card or just a voucher? And will it expire? Or is this more of a "One Fee For Life" kinda thing?

We generally bring the party with us. We had our own party at MK (which is totally acceptable for an "average" 50 yr old guy, fun times at Atlantic Dance Hall (where you are free to dance, drink, and/or stand and model as you see fit). Then we had a FUN time at Epcot, which will be bigger and better next year, WITH FUN SHIRTS! Between us DIS'ers, you should be taken care of, no matter what kind of party you're looking for.
