can we bring our own drinks to the pool?

we are staying at RPR for two nights and wondered if we could bring a travel mug with our own drink in it down to the pool. We did it last time at a Disney hotel, and had a little cooler bag with refills in it. Very discreetly poured a beer or two into the travel mug. Stashed the empty cans back into our bag and brought them back to our hotel room. We were very discreet about it. Wondered if we could do the same at the RPR. Would anyone notice or care? we will buy a drink or two from the pool bar, just not all of them.

I had a bottle of water with me down there, they never gave me a problem.

its one of those maybe , maybe nots. I have brought down a small golf type cooler with a couple beers in it and they have said its not allowed. bothered me a bit because we did buy beer, frozen colada for the wife, and soda and snacks for the kids. Was at a busy time and was a good 20 minutes between order and delivery. Then again, been there ,brought down cooler, ordered from bar, no problem with cooler
