Can this briefly be answered without getting political?

I thought I would look up what Wikipedia had to say, and Wikipedia pretty much says the same thing as the PP.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medicare_Part_D_coverage_gap

I'd ask why you think it's a totally false statement, but then we'd likely careen way off topic, and I really don't want to go there. :)

I've edited a lot of Wikipedia articles and Wikipedia isn't always right...just thought I'd throw that in there.

agnes!

What people are asking is whether you have any PROOF (e.g., FACTS) to back up your opinion as previously stated. Since you have refused to provide any, one can only assume that your OPINION is just that...an opinion and not fact.

Despite rabid media to the contrary, the health care law DOES do some good for many people. You can not like it. That's your right as an American. Go for it. However, please do not call people liars for simply stating, accurately, what the law does.

OK, the FACT is the law is still just on paper, not in practice yet. As a undeniable result anything anyone anywhere says is an EXPECTATION NOT A FACT. FACTS are things that exist. Expectations are things that people hope to exist. Opinions are personalized perceptions that are purely subjective. Some people have the EXPECTATION that this is a magic bullet cure all. Other people have the EXPECTATION that it will be the exact opposite. The FACT that differing expectations can reasonably be concluded makes them OPINIONS NOT FACTS.

I really don't understand how this is confusing

FYI, it's not about being a liar, it's about misrepresenting opinion as fact. This doesn't make someone a liar, I never used the word and tend to dislike it because it assumes malice.

Roflmao! Uh, people are entitled to their own opinions...they are not entitled to their own inaccurate facts!

The removal of the donut hole is going to be a huge relief to many seniors.

So you mean, IF it works, the removal is a good benefit? Obviously nothing has been removed yet or this whole thread wouldn't exist. The timeline just doesn't work.

Also, about 1/2 the country has it's doubts so I'm guessing there is a lot more opinion than fact going on here.

FYI, no matter how many times someone says an opinion is a fact it still remains an opinion just the same. I'm not saying people aren't right to have opinions, I don't even think people have to agree with me when it comes to opinions. I just have a huge problem when an opinion is presented as fact. Have you noticed I'm not arguing any of the flaws in the opinion itself, I'm just sticking to my point?

Here is an interesting article and some will unfortunately see that paying for drugs will be the least of their worries. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703649004575437311393854940.html

That's an opinion piece.

Just wanted to point that out since you posted it to LuvOrlando and that poster seems to have a problem with opinions and likes to point out that they are NOT facts. :)

Here's another opinion that points out some flaws with the one you posted: http://blogs.forbes.com/rickungar/2...lly-cut-medicare-benefits-to-senior-citizens/

Finally, someone gets it, and thank you, I have no problem reading both sides of an opinion

Both articles were interesting reads.
