Can the SSR Developer points be rented out?

Sorry if this subject has been covered elsewhere. We just bought at AKV and are not sure if we'll be able to use the Developer points we've been given for use at SSR. Can they be rented out just like normal points?

IIRC, developer points may not be transferred to another member.

However, you may certainly make a reservation for someone else and rent the reservation.
