Several top republicans, while stopping short of saying it's impossible, seem to think their chances aren't all that good.
Anyway, this is an interesting article (especially to a center-left favorer like me), but a word of caution: you just may have to apply disinfectant after reading the conversation with Tom DeLay.
Here's a very telling quote from the piece (spoken by a conservative): This President has strengths and weaknesses, but he has a major character flaw, and thats that he will brook no criticism and his people wont, either. And the whole Party gave in to him on that.

It's not a high probability right now, but it's still a possibility, depending on the candidate chosen on each side.
