Haven't been to DLRP for years but am well used to the wonders of WDW, can someone explain to me the difference in the parks for fastpass? does it work the same as Florida? also do they make ADRs 180 days out? are the character meeting points the same type of thing - I seem to remember someone posting that they're a free for all in Paris and as such its easy to get elbowed out of the way and not easy to get a photo without a crowd of other people in it?

Hi Carol
You can hold fastpasses for many different rides at the same time, although not more than one for the same ride at the same time.
As far as character meet and greet goes, they have sessions where people are expected to line up to meet the character at certain places, and they also seem to have casual character appearances, where characters just appear and wander among the guests. The first type of meet and greet is obviously better for photos.
As far as ADR goes, I have never had to use it. Even at busy times I have booked restaurants for the following day. Hopefully someone else can fill you in on ADR. Hope this helps.

Hi,

We've only been twice before, and have really only used fast pass for peterpan - but it seemed a case of just getting a ticket from the appropriate fast pass machine and going back at the allocated time. You've probably seen this web page but it seems to be really informative and clear

http://www.services.chrismedia.co.uk/fastpass.html

Hope it helps anyway - sorry, I'm not much of a fastpass pro!!!

PS - Sorry I meant to ask - whats an ADR???? :confused3

I just know I'm going to feel so stupid when you all post replies!!!!!!

Advanced Dinner Reservation = ADR

You can make them 2 months in advance on this number: 00 33 1 60 30 40 50

I've only just learned this too Kaye - it's Advanced Dining Reservation - what used to be called Priority Seating. Basically just booking a meal with a fancy name!!!!! ;)

Edit - that dlpSteve posted at the same time as me but a few micro-seconds ahead!!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Sorry to repeat the info!!

Another Fastpass-Tipp: It´s true that you can get Fastpasses for different attraction at the same time.

But you can also use your old Hoppertickets from previous stays, because they don´t read the timestamp, they just proof if they are original tickets. ::yes::

So with our third visit now, my son and me can have 3 Fastpasses for each FP-Attraktion at the same time. But we will not do that because it is cheating :rolleyes1 .

Thanks guys, I was just wondering as I'd heard somewhere that the type of fastpass differs if you're staying at different hotels!
just clarifying, thanks again

Oh dear, I am so glad you can't all see me blushing! . My family are always teasing me that every meal is prebooked from as early as possible at DLRP ::yes:: - if they could have seen I didn't even know what ADR was - there would have been no end of leg pulling!!!!!!!!! Thank you for clearing that up, and I would now quote the reservation number but Steve beat me to it.

You get 3 Complementry fast past per guest if you stay at DLH or New York Hotel which is where you can use the fastpass anytime you wish rather than being given a time to come back.

The suites and the castleclub at disneyland has a VIP fastpass which is unlimited.

Hi Carol, nice to see you over in these parts :wave2:
When are you thinking of going to DLP?
