Can someone help me with a confusing situation?

We have a planned trip from 9/22-10/3. Split stay with 3 room changes. We are driving down and not using ME. Anyway, DH might not be able come for the entire trip and is thinking about flying down Thursday night and leaving Monday. So here is my question...one of my reservations is Thursday-Sunday so I thought I would remove my DH's name from the other reservations and leave him on Thurs-Sun reservation. Would I be able to book ME for him on Thursday? I assume I'm out of luck for the ME for the return trip on Monday since his reservation ends Sunday. I don't want to leave him on the other reservations since the kids and I planned on doing the dining plan while he isn't there. Anyway can I get DH on the ME on Monday? If not, we can arrange for taxi pick up but thought best to ask.

I believe you can book him on both. Just call MS and make sure you have his flight itinerary and explain to them when he is arriving/departing. This should be on the reservations too since that is what you have to provide as well.

I would try talking to them to see if you could do this. I remember one year we were at WDW and there was a big problem with Northwest Airlines during that week and they cancelled flights and we couldn't get through to them on the phone to rebook a new flight. So we called the resort front desk and talked to them and they allowed my husband to ride the ME to the airport to work out things with the airline and then he rode back again on the ME. No extra charge to us.

So I think they will try to work with unusual situations.

Read the sticky on ME on the transportation board and I believe this is explained there. Or ask there for the details. Everyone staying at Disney is entitled to one ride to and one ride from the airport on ME. It's just the logistics of reserving you need to workout.

When we have had others arriving/departing on different days we always just put them on the whole reservation and then just book the ME for their flights. Disney recognizes that some people do arrive and depart on different days. Just having your DH on the entire reservation but having him arrive/depart on a different day won't be a problem unless it is for a day that he isn't on a reservation.
