Can someone help me figure this out, please?

We already had reservations for 8 nights in a Nemo suite at AoA for 1/6-1/14. We had added on the middle of the road dining plan as well. I just checked back now that they've added the PSD promotion and it looks like we would save $451 if we get them to add the PSD promo. So my first question, is will they definitely honor that?

Secondly, there are five of us traveling. Myself, DH, DD (19), DS (15) and DD (7). We thought the suite would be good because there are two bathrooms, but we can generally be together. However, when I priced out two value resort rooms (Sports and POP) from what I can tell, we would be saving $1363 or two rooms vs. one suite! (I upgraded that dining plan to the mid-level one as well, so it's not the quick serve dining.)

So here's my main question. I already have all of our ADR's reserved and I don't want to lose them. If I decide to get the two rooms instead of one, will I wind up losing my ADR's? Will I lose them if they honor the PSD promo and switch my original reservation?

no, your ADRs are not connected to your hotel reservation.

It's not a matter of Disney honoring the PSD promo, it's whether or not they have availability for the dates you want at the resort you want. There's a limited number of rooms available under the discount at each resort that it's available at.

I already have a room reserved, so if I kept that room, that was what I was hoping they'd honor the new PSD price rather than the original price. If I book a new room, then I know it's subject to availability. Thanks!

That's not how it works. They can not just apply the discount to the room you have already booked. For example, if the resort you have currently booked only had 10 rooms available with the SPD promo and they are all booked then you would have to book the SPD at a different resort that does have an available room with that promo.

Not how it worked today for us. Could not apply discount to our pofq existing reservation. Was told there was none left this was before 8am!! Came on disboards saw others having the same problem. I went online under a incognito tab and low and behold I could get the discount. I then cancelled my first reservation. So it's not based on 10 rooms it was their algorithm and they programed the discount to not be in your favour.

If you call right away most likely you will be able to make the changes to get the deal you want.
