I kind of missed when ESPN had ESPN 360/ESPN 3. They had free streaming of lots of content as long as you were connected through an internet provider that paid them a few. I could stream tons of sports (including replays) without a cable/sat subscription that included ESPN channels. On top of that, a lot of their content was available even though broadcast on ESPN channels that I didn't subscribe to.

I think they ran into net neutrality concerns.
