Can someone explain Plenti Points to me?

Rite Aid has a deal on Disney gift cards that if you spend $100.00 you get 1000 Plenti points? I am registered for the points but honestly don't know how to use them?? Can I use the 1000 plenti points as $10.00 off a future Rite Aid order or Exxon Gas and how do I redeem them? Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can use point to pay for things. You can ear points at a number of different retailers and spend those points to save money. So you can earn points at say Rite Aid and then use those points to pay for a meal at Chili's or save money at Macey's. The website does a pretty good job at explaining it:

This is so silly, but I am the type of person who likes to cram every free penny I can into a vacation so I save up my Plenti points and when we drive to HHI, I use them towards our gas along the way. I say it's silly because we go to HHI once every three years and we acquire Plenti points so slowly because we rarely shop at Macy's or RiteAid (although that might change with the Walgreen's/Rite-Aid merger thing...) so we only earn the points by buying gas, and even that is slow because we split between Mobil/Exxon and Speedway. I've earned a whopping $10 in Plenti points so far since April, but that's OK since we aren't going to HHI again until 2020. By then, I might have enough saved up to pay for a full tank. But hey, every little bit helps, right? On our last trip, I had $35 in Plenti rewards which actually covered about 25% of our total gas budget for the trip. That's not too bad considering it was free.

Rite Aid and Walgreens are merging? Interesting. Which name will they keep. I'm guessing Walgreens since there seem to be more of them. They have their own points thing though so they may not do plenty unless there's more info and I just haven't heard anything.

Well, I'm not sure that they are technically merging. I think it was more of Walgreen's bought a bunch of Rite Aid stores.

We have a Walgreen's on one corner and a Rite-Aid directly across from it. We use Walgreen's because it is open 24 hours and because I go to work at 5am, it is often more convenient for me to grab our prescriptions before work when there is no line. If Rite-Aid were 24-hours, we'd use that one because it is a lot easier to get in and out of...stupid "Michigan left turns".

I just used all my Plenti points towards my purchase at Winn Dixie. Don't use Mobil or Exxon; we use Shell and get 5 cents off each gallon with our Shell card and 5 more off with Gas Rewards. I liked Winn Dixie when they had the deal with Shell.

You can't use Plenti Points to purchase GCs.
