Can someone define "junior" when you get a code?

I got the following offer today:

Total package price of $1,539 based on a family of 4
occupying the same standard room at a select

*Price based on 2 adults, 1 junior and 1 child.

But when I do the math for MY family (2 adults, 2 children ages 6 & 3) I'm coming up with $105 per night (5 nights = $525) for a value resort, $231 per adult 6 day ticket and $198 per child 6 day ticket ($858). That totals $1383 which is LESS than the total package price listed above. Am I missing something?? I thought this was a good deal but maybe not?

Junior would be age 10-17. They need an adult ticket for the parks but stay free at the resort.

Your kiddos at 6 & 3 would need child tickets. That is the price difference.

Ohhhh...so I guess you can't downgrade a deal, eh?

So much for my idea of going to WDW in October then. I'll never sell it to husband if it isn't a real deal. Darn!

Nowhere in there does it mention any kind of discount. If you price out the exact same trip using 2A,1J,1C you'll probably find it's just an advertisement for full price. Your calculations came out cheaper because you're pricing 2A,2C.

Was there a 15 digit code anywhere on the email? It really does sound like an advertisement rather than a PIN code.

There is more to that difference than just the child/junior - Taxes.

5 nights at 105 with taxes is 590.

I'm pretty sure your ticket prices are right so for 2 adults 2 kids, with taxes, that would total 914.

This together would be 1504. That's $35 less than the quote, which just happens to be just about the price difference between a child and adult 6 day ticket.
