Hi,
We have never stayed in a concierge room but would like to try it on our next trip. I was thinking either Poly or WL. What are the similarities/differences between the concierge services at each? Thanks for all your help!

Hi! I can tell you about the WL concierge, and maybe someone who has stayed at the Poly can fill you in on their service.
The WL concierge staff is very friendly, and they have wonderful itinerary planners. They will give you suggestions ahead of time, for events that you can do, especially if you are going on a package where certain things are already paid for.
The concierge desk is right in front of the elevators, and they don't have real desks where they can sit down, so as you enter, the staff is kind of standing around, greeting you.
The concierge floor is the 7th floor, so you get a room key that you have to put into the elevator slot, otherwise you won't be able to get on your floor. It's nice, that it's a private floor, but I know that's because of the food they put out.
There is no real concierge lounge - the food is served on a buffet table alongside the walkway, and then there are miscellaneous tables and chairs scattered around. While you are eating, you look down into the lobby, since the tables are along the 7th floor walkway.
The food offerings were okay, but nothing to write home about. We were disappointed in the food there, but that could be b/c we had just left the GF RPC. The fruit was a cocktail, instead of separate fresh fruit, and there were a few cereals and pastries for breakfast. For the afternoon snack, we had bbq ribs one day, which were very dry and not good at all. In the evenings, there were some okay desserts and liqueurs.
The nice thing was that because our room was on the 7th floor, we had a perfect view of the MK fireworks! Our room was just like a standard room, except that it had a private balcony and jacuzzi tub, b/c we were in the honeymoon room.
Let me know if you have any questions in particular.
Cheers!
Heather W
