Can someone compare the pools between AKL and the Swan?

I would appreciate any information about how AKL and the Swan pools are alike and different. Size? Slide? We've stayed at AKL so that will give me some idea. I'm taking just my 10 year DD for a quick trip in Dec., a girls only trip. She loves to swim.

(Without the entire family going, I'd have a hard time spending the extra $$$ on the BC/YC ( her two favorite places) or Boardwalk for a quick trip.)

Thanks. ::MickeyMo

my preference is AKL. The sw/olphin is 'nice', the pool is a long hot walk away from most rooms. It's nice but kinda 'adult'. AKL's looks like a lake in the savannah, the cast members have pool games and there are lots of other kid friendly activities.

Funny, I thought that the pool at the Swan was much more child friendly! They have two there--one lap pool and a beautiful grotto pool. We really liked the Swan/Dolphin, and only moderately liked the AKL. AKL is zero entry, but hte tw nights we were there the water was very green. I am always able to find a lounge chair at the Swan/Dolphin and was rearely able to find one at AKL.

There's a reason the Grotto Pool was voted the most lush and exotic by Disney Magazine a few years back!

It's a tropical paradise!

Thanks. I forgot about the magazine article. I know I have it somewhere.
