Can some veterans review my dining reservations please?

Uh-oh...sounds like a lot of DISboarders are thinking that DD will not enjoy the Aloha dinner show...but this was DW's idea and she is really into it. How does a DH handle this????

Have some canned pineapple in the room, light a towel on fire and twirl it around?;)

I would skip the AK! You can always go to a zoo while you're at home, however you're hard pressed to just as easily go to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot or Disney Hollywood Studios unless you're actually there. I don't hate the AKL, I just think it's grossly over-rated. Btw, I think your dining options look great!

I would like to suggest the Princess breakfast in Norway at Epcot or dinner at 1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian) that has Cinderella, Prince Charming, the Wicked Step-Mother and Evil Step-Sisters. Those are great for little girls and the food is so much better than Cinderella's Royal Table

I agree with this. We're only doing 3 parks and decided to skip the AK.

animal kingdom is notazu:lmao:

OP we tend to skip AK on short trips:rolleyes1but think it's the 2nd best park for kids @ WDW. Even if u don't get to the park, might want to consider a quick visit to AKLodge to check out the public viewing areas, all the little kids seem to be fascinated by the hotel.

You show her this thread and then do what she wants of course.

I would "TRY" to get 'Ohanas instead of the aloha show...other than that it looks pretty good:thumbsup2

OK, have been to all of these several times:

Saturday dinner: Biergarten (Epcot): good fun, can be noisy at dinner, food is good buffet food

Sunday dinner: Tony's Town Square (MK) (DW is a big Lady & The Tramp fan): nice setting, thought the food was not up to much and quite expensive for spaghetti and meatballs. Still a must for a lady and the tramp fan

Monday lunch: Crystal Palace (MK) (Character dining for my DD): Lovely setting and good characters. Food OK but restaurant always really busy

Tuesday dinner: 50's Prime Time Cafe (HS): just plain great fun and really good homecooked food. Keep your elbows off the table and be sure to finish everything on the plate !!

Wednesday dinner: Cape May Cafe (BC): Lovely food and lovely setting. One of our favourites

Thursday breakfast: Chef Mickey's (MK) (Character dining): Noisy, fun, great characters and just a blast from start to finish

Thursday dinner (not DDP): Aloha Dinner Show (Poly): Spirit of Aloha is one of the best dinner shows. Food is amazing and the show is great, especially the second half, stick to beer wine or soda and there is very little extra expense.

Let me begin by saying that I have no children but have experienced most of your dining reservations. I agree with everyone else that the Spirit of Aloha can definitely be skipped. The food was just so/so and the show was pretty boring. Also, because it is a show with tables all around, it is hard to move around during the performance. I would be hesitant to spend all of that money and possibly have to miss it because of a meltdown.

As far as Animal kingdom, it is me and my DH's favorite park. There are tons of things to see and do for the little one. And the Tucker House has the best character breakfast. Don't forget to go to Flights of Wonder, Festival of the Lion King, and Finding Nemo. I think they are the best shows in Disney World and all kid friendly. Oh, and take the train out to Rafikki's planet watch and let your DD play in the petting zoo and hold the elephant poop (shalacked of course :rotfl2:)

ENJOY!!!!!
