Can non-guests swim at Dolphin and Swan Pools?

We are staying at the WL this New Years and we are wondering if we can swim at the Dolphin and Swan, specifically the lap pool. We are swimmers and we would love to be able to get some laps in on our vacation.

Pool hopping is against Disney resort rules. Pools are reserved for guests of those resorts only.

At busier times of the year, the Swan & Dolphin lifeguards do check room keys for pool access.

1) WL has a good pool, although not a lap pool.
2) Why not swim there?

Pool hopping between Disney Resorts is not permitted. Swan and Dolphin are not even Disney-owned properties.

I am staying at the All Star sports with a group of twenty and I was thinking of taking my group to the Wilderness Lodge to use the pool there. I hear its a great pool with a slide. We like slides.

As stated, pool hopping is NOT permitted. Your group may use the pools at All-Star Sports, Music and Movies only. If you want a slide, stay at a moderate or deluxe or go to Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon.

I think the post you replied to was being sarcastic.

For my part I don't understand the mentality of pool hopping. What is at WDW that changes the way people think? I can't go to a Hyatt and then pool hop at the Ritz, why should Disney be different?

When I pool hop I only do it at SAB.


To OP - I'd call the Swolphin and ask. They may make some sort of arrangement for you to use the lap pool. I bet if your name was Michael Phelps they'd let you use it!
