Can I use a visa gift card earned from our back account?

I just wanted to know if Disney accepts a visa gift card that we earned cash on from our bank purchases? We earn money back by using our bank credit card and they have a visa gift card as an option to redeem them.
Has anyone had any trouble doing this?

A VISA gift card should be able to be used anywhere a VISA is accepted. I've never had any problem using them.

I've used them a number of times, unfortunately my credit card was sold to a different bank and now I have to take my points in cash into my checking account. Which is no big deal in the long run since I charge everything to my credit card, earning more points, I have the money from my points put into my interest bearing savings account and then use it to pay my credit card.

The hotel front desks often have a problem with bank or credit card gift cards. They either are not set up for them or many CMs don't know how to process them. Last time I tried to use one (have used both Visa and Amex gift cards) they just had me go to the resort shop and purchase a Disney gift card with it. Front desks can take a Disney gift card with no problems, and the shop CMs had zero issues selling me a Disney card when I explained what I was doing.

It does help if the resort shop is close to the check in lobby! Trading my $100 AmEx gift card for a $100 Disney gift card took no time at all.

Just make sure you are keeping up with how much is one it because sometimes they are declined if there isn't enough left to cover the entire purchase instead of applying what is left and then asking for another form of payment.
